An installation for sintering a preform includes a sintering furnace in which a load is disposed, wherein the load includes a revolution preform disposed around at least one holding tool, the at least one holding tool including a disk and a crown present on the periphery of the disk, the crown being made of compressible material capable of being eliminated by thermal oxidation, a portion of the preform being in contact with the crown before sintering.

A method for injecting ceramic particles into a fibrous texture includes placing a fibrous texture in a mould, injecting from one side a first suspension including a powder of large filtration particles to form a filtration layer, injecting from the opposite side a second suspension into the fibrous texture, the second suspension including a powder of small refractory ceramic particles, then draining through the filtration layer the liquid phase of the second suspension having passed through the fibrous texture and retaining the refractory ceramic particle powder inside the fibrous texture by the filtration layer of so as to obtain a fibrous preform including at least the fibrous texture filled with refractory ceramic particles and the filtration layer.

A method of producing tooling for molding a part by resin transfer molding, including: producing a model of the part; producing a countermold with an outside surface presenting an indentation complementary to a first side of the model; placing the model in the indentation of the countermold; draping a plurality of superposed textile layers that are impregnated with thermosetting resin on the model and on the outside surface of the countermold to shape a first half-shell; curing the first half-shell; separating the countermold from the model and from the first half-shell; draping a plurality of superposed textile layers on the first half-shell and the first side of the model, to shape a second half-shell; and curing the second half-shell.
