The sealing arrangement is also configured for providing a peripheral seal between the housing () and the sealing unit (). The sealing unit () includes an actuation arrangement () for pressurizing the sealant arrangement () within the sealing unit opening (). The sealant arrangement () includes a plurality of sealing modules (-) each sized to form only a portion of the pressure actuated sealant arrangement ().

Cable sealing unit with multiple sealing modules

A telecommunications closure () comprising cables (), a cover (), an interior frame (), the frame () holding telecommunications equipment (), and a seal block () sealing the cover () closed relative to one or more cables () which enter the closure (). The frame () defines a plurality of clamp assembly holders (). A plurality of clamp assemblies () are provided, each clamp assembly () for holding a cable including a jacket (), interior optical fibers (), and at least one interior strength member (). Each clamp assembly () includes a jacket clamp assembly () moveable relative to the frame, and including a wrap () which mounts around the jacket, and a strength member clamp assembly () moveable relative to the frame. The wrap () wraps around the jacket () and is adjustable for different jacket diameters. The strength member clamp assembly () is mountable in a plurality of positions relative to the jacket clamp assembly () to account for variations in the relative location of the strength member relative to the jacket clamp assembly. The clamp assembly () is moveable relative to the frame () wherein the cable () is allowed to move to a proper position relative to the seal block () so as to reduce the likelihood of a leak by being centrally positioned relative to the cable opening through the seal block.

Cable clamp and telecommunications enclosure

An enclosure () includes a base () defining a splice region () and a cover () coupled to the base () to move between a closed position and an open position. A plurality of ruggedized adapters () are on the cover (), each adapter having an inner port () and an outer port (). A removable module () is disposed on the cover (), at least one input fiber () being routed from the splice region () of the base () to the removable module (), wherein the at least one input fiber () is output from the module as a pigtail () having a connectorized end that is connected to an inner port () of a ruggedized adapter (). A cable input location () receives an input cable () including at least one tube () surrounding at least one fiber () that carries the same signal as the at least one input fiber () being routed from the splice region () to the removable module (). The input cable () is anchored to the base () at the cable input location (). A tube holder () is slidably mounted to the base () past the cable input location (), wherein the tube holder () keeps separate an unused fiber-carrying tube () that is stored within the base () in a loop () from a fiber-carrying tube () whose fiber () leads toward the splice region () of the base () for further routing toward the removable module ().

Splitter module and enclosure for use therein

A closure includes a cover and seal block. A feeder cable pathway and rear cover is provided for separation of feeder cables from drop cables. The organizer in the closure includes an end cap and rear cable storage. Cable fixation clips, linear or bendable, can be used individually or daisy chained together. Cable fixation chambers are positioned on top of the gel block housing. The organizer is a click together organizer. Dual heights on cable guides on sides of the groove plate facilitate cable installation. Tray supports with rounded ends prevent looseness of the tray mounts. Other organizers include cable routing features for compact storage.

Telecommunications enclosure and organizer

The present disclosure relates to a re-enterable enclosure for a fiber optic network. The enclosure can include features such as a low compression-force perimeter gasket, cable seals constructed to seal effectively seal triple points, multi-function port size reducer plugs and multi-function blind plugs.

A seal () for a telecommunications enclosure () includes a first body () made of a first material. The first body () defines a port () and the port () defines a port axis (). The first body () further includes a first axial face (), an opposite second axial face (), and a peripheral surface ().
