The hook includes a body having a receiving space for receiving the journal and, within the body, a clip for coupling to the journal and an actuator for actuating the clip. The clip includes a semi-cylindrical wall, two flaps and two hinges for pivotal hinging of each flap to a respective one of the walls. The clip has a closed position in which the flaps have come towards each other to form with the wall a bearing for the journal, and an open position in which the flaps are separated for freeing and insertion of the journal from/into the receiving space. The passage from one position to the other is actuated by the actuator by pressing the journal on the wall.

The fixing device includes a base including elements for pivotal mounting of the ring; a foot carried by the base, including a first pair of lugs extending from the base, a crossmember disposed between the lugs, and a second pair of lugs connected to the base; and a rod adapted to enter a bore provided through the base; each of the lugs having a shoulder over the whole of the width of the lug, the shoulder forming a transition between a first section of the lug and a thinner second portion. The sheath for receiving a head-rest branch includes at least one wedge disposed in a window formed in a wall of the sheath and adapted to be disposed between the bushing and the branch, said wedge having a thickness greater than that of said wall so that, when the sheath is housed in the bushing and the branch is received in the sheath, the wedge is compressed between the bushing and the branch.

The rotation-retarding device includes a first element and a second element having a rotary motion to be retarded relative to each other. The first element includes a block of flexible material (), the second element () is able to locally deform the block of flexible material () throughout the rotary motion in order to retard this motion, and anti-adherence means are provided at the interface of the two elements. The block of flexible material () may also have a dimensional variation able to permit progressive retarding of the rotary motion.

An article includes an articulation pin (4) engaged in first and second elements (2,3A), to secure the same together, with a tongue and groove respectively formed in the elements and pin to prevent relative rotation. A blocking arrangement fixes the second element and the pin to prevent relative rotation when they are in a predefined relative axial and angular position. The first and second elements (2,3A) and also the pin (4) cooperate so that the application of a force between the first elements (2) and the second element (3A) at least equal to a predetermined threshold, when the pin (4) and the second element (3A) are in the predefined relative axial and angular position, produces a relative axial movement between the pin and the second element, freeing the blocking arrangement so that the pin is free to rotate in the second element.
