A system and method are provided for transferring data from a first mobile device to another device by determining a set comprising one or more items, initiating a first transfer of at least some data associated with at least one of the one or more items to the other device, detecting an interaction with the set, and enabling a second transfer of additional data associated with the set.

A method at an electronic device including a touch-sensitive display for receiving touch input and a keyboard comprising a plurality of buttons, the method comprising: detecting actuation of a button on at least one of the plurality of buttons; detecting a touch input at the touch-sensitive display while the button is actuated; responding to the touch input, wherein response to the touch input while the button is actuated is different to response to touch input detected while the button is not actuated.

A computer implemented method includes, at an electronic device having an input interface and a display, receiving information relating to a current relative location of at least one other electronic device, displaying on the display a representation of the at least one other electronic device and its relative location, and receiving at the input interface user input associated with the displayed representation of the at least one other electronic device for communicating with the at least one other electronic device. The electronic device has up-to-date knowledge of the relative position of the at least one other device and displays this visually. Information may be sent to the at least one other electronic device in response to receiving the user input associated with the displayed representation of the at least one other electronic device.
