A firing pin arrangement for a firearm using caseless ammunition wherein the firing pin is activated by rotary movement and a protrusion on the firing pin that is eccentrically displaced relative to an axis of the firing pin is used for setting off the aforementioned caseless ammunition.

Actuating mechanism for the cocking device of a self-loading hand gun which has an actuating element, wherein two co-acting elements for limiting rotational movement of the actuating element are provided to stop movement of the actuating element after a predetermined angle of rotation, wherein one co-acting element is connected in driving relationship with the actuating element, while the other co-acting element is secured against rotation, wherein the co-acting elements include a guide cam for coaction with forward and rear arms of a lever, and wherein the lever pivots about an axis movable along a circular path, wherein the guide cam includes a first portion forming a stop for the forward lever arm, as viewed in a predetermined sense of rotation, when the forward lever arm has moved past the predetermined angle of rotation, and a second portion spaced at a certain angular distance from the first portion along opposite rotation sense, wherein the second portion comes into contact with the rear lever arm so as to pivot the rear lever arm in one direction, when the lever is moved in a reverse rotation sense from a starting position in which the forward lever arm rests against the first portion, so that the forward lever arm is subsequently moved in an opposite direction by a distance sufficient to enable the lever to be moved past the first stop in the predetermined sense of rotation.

Actuating mechanism for a cocking device

A shoulder arm, especially a rifle, having a barrel, a recess, which is perpendicular to the axis of the barrel, formed in a member which is fixedly connected with the barrel, and a roller-shaped breech member coaxially arranged in the recess and capable of being swivelled about its longitudinal axis for loading. The breech member contains a firing chamber which, in the firing position of the breech member, is in alignment with the barrel and is closed to the rear. The shoulder arm also has an arrangement for swivelling the breech member out of the firing position and into a loading position, in which the firing chamber is accessible for the introduction of a cartridge. The recess is designed in the form of a cylindrical hole, whose wall serves to mount the roller-shaped breech member and to directly close the firing chamber when it is located in the firing position. The breech member is retained in its respective position by means of the swivelling arrangement which can only rotate the breech member in one direction. A magazine and an ejector, are mounted on the same side of the shoulder arm or weapon and above the barrel.
