The distributor serves for a pairwise delivery of two liquids to a plurality of infeed sites in a reactor or in a column with a density of at least 50 sites per m. The distributor has a pair of main passages that supply pairs of secondary passages with different liquid. Each pair of secondary passages is formed by a pair of upstanding side parts and an upstanding partition wall. Each side part has a base extending from a lower edge to the partition wall to define a secondary passage therewith for receiving liquid from a respective one of the main passages, and each base has a plurality of outlet apertures for the outflow of liquid from the respective secondary passage.

Distributor for pairwise delivery of two liquids

The tray valve for a tray column includes an opening in a tray for a vapor passage and a valve body that is made to match the tray opening. The valve body consists of a top plate and vertically downwardly directed guide limbs arranged at the edge of the plate. The guide limbs have barbs for the anchoring of the valve body in the opening. The material and shape of the valve body are selected so that upon insertion of the valve body into the tray opening the top plate deforms in an arched manner while the guide limbs and barbs without deformation pass through the opening in a snap-fit manner. Weakened portions, in the form of grooves, slits or bores, can be provided in the top plate to facilitate upward arching of the top plate. Any deformation at the inserted valve body can be reversed, with the exception of a slight residual deformation, by an application of force onto the top plate.

Tray valve for a tray column

The liquid distributor includes a plurality of parallel spaced apart passages for receiving liquid, at least one carrier beam disposed transversely of and over the walls of the passages and at least one sheet metal plate slidably mounted on one of walls of the carrier beam in parallel relation to the wall. The walls of the carrier beam have hooks disposed in apertures of the passages and elevations disposed in recesses in the metal plate.

Device in process engineering column

The device is arranged in a process engineering column () and serves in particular for the guiding of liquid. This device includes at least two parts () made of sheet metal and releasably connected to one another. A recess () is arranged in the one part, the sheet metal part () of a first kind, and an elevation () fitting into the recess is arranged in the other part, the sheet metal part () of a second kind. The two sheet metal parts are held in a secured position by a hook connection between the recess and the elevation. The recess and the elevation form a single pair or one pair among several and the sheet metal parts have planar regions lying on top of one another in the neighbourhood () of the pair or of each pair respectively.

Device in a process engineering column

The guide member ( ) for a liquid jet ( ) to be deflected allows a liquid ( ) after flowing out of a container ( ) to be deflected onto a target ( ) which is located below the container. The deflecting takes place by means of a shaped material plate ( ) which is arranged ahead of an outlet opening ( ) of the container and which reshapes and further conducts the jet ( ) in such a manner that the liquid is conveyed to the target at a lower end ( ) of the shaped material plate. At the location ahead of the outlet opening ( ), where the liquid jet ( ) is incident onto the shaped material plate ( ), a first and a second piece of surface ( and respectively) of the material plate form a mouth region ( ) in which the first piece of surface ( ) deflects the liquid ( ) transversely with respect to the vertical, whereas the second piece of surface ( ) is provided as a catcher for squirts. The first piece of surface merges into a channel ( ) in which the liquid is guided downwards. In this the wall of the second piece of surface divides the channel off from the mouth region. In modified form the guide member can also be assembled from a plurality of shaped material plates.

Guide member for a liquid jet to be deflected

The guide member for a liquid jet to be deflected allows a liquid after flowing out of a container to be deflected onto a target which is located below the container. The deflecting takes place by means of a shaped material plate which is arranged ahead of an outlet opening of the container and which reshapes and further conducts the jet in such a manner that the liquid is conveyed to the target at a lower end of the shaped material plate. At the location ahead of the outlet opening, where the liquid jet is incident onto the shaped material plate, a first and a second piece of surface of the material plate form a mouth region in which the first piece of surface deflects the liquid transversely with respect to the vertical, whereas the second piece of surface is provided as a catcher for squirts. The first piece of surface merges into a channel in which the liquid is guided downwards. In this the wall of the second piece of surface divides the channel off from the mouth region. In modified form the guide member can also be assembled from a plurality of shaped material plates.
