Provided is a powder hair dye composition capable of, in a hair-dyeing treatment intended to give a sharp black hue, suppressing the development of redness without being affected by the leave-on time required for the hair-dyeing treatment, while ensuring a sufficient hair-dyeing power. The powder hair dye composition contains (A) sodium percarbonate whose content is 1.8 to 3.7 mass % at the time of use, (B) p-phenylenediamine sulfate, and (C) m-aminophenol sulfate.

Powdered hair dye composition

A powder hair dye composition includes component (A) to component (C). The content of the component (A) at the time of use is 1 to 5 mass %. The component (A) is sodium percarbonate. The component (B) is sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. The component (C) is a thickener other than the component (B).

A hair dye composition is characterized by containing (A) HC BLUE No. 2, (B) DISPERSE VIOLET 1, and (C) at least one of HC YELLOW No. 2 and HC YELLOW No. 4 and has a pH of 7-11. The mass ratio of the content of (A) HC BLUE No. 2 to the content of (B) DISPERSE VIOLET 1 is preferably 1 to 30. The hair dye composition preferably further contains (D) DISPERSE BLACK 9.
