The invention concerns a method which consists in detecting and discriminating at least three states, respectively blue sky, white sky and direct sunlight. The discrimination between the three states is based, for example, on an intermediate detection distinguishing between either a homogenous state or a nonhomogeneous state of the sky. White sky means a sky saturated with humidity, with strong light diffusion and producing a high level of brightness. The method can be implemented, for example by using sensors or a monochromatic or color camera.

Method for measuring external light to control protection means against sunlight or illumination

The process comprises a user acting on an initial group control module so as to commence the hooking up as a first step. It also includes the following steps: a request for signaling in the network of all the modules which are hooked up with the initial group control module by comparing the addresses which they have stored with the address of the initial group control module, the user acting on one or more of the modules of the network so as to hook it up with the initial group control module or to cancel it s hookup with the initial group control module. The process is terminated by the user acting on the initial group control module in order to terminate the hookup.

Process for hooking up a group control module with a control module and/or an action module and/or a measurement module

The network (N) links control modules (CM) of a device (M) on the basis of a common instruction and of a quantity measured by a sensor (S) associated with a measurement module (MM). The instruction is formulated in the measurement module and broadcast over the network by the measurement module together with the measurement value.

The device comprises a control point (CP) equipped with Up and Down contacts, the actuation of which causes the rotation of the motor in the desired direction, a control and supply box (CB) containing a logic processing unit (LPU), switching means controlled by the logic unit and means for establishing a direction of rotation of the motor. The means for establishing a direction of rotation of the motor furthermore comprise means (LPU, CLK, DC) for recognizing the direction of rotation of the shutter or roller blind, a memory of EEPROM type (MI) for recording the direction of rotation of the motor instruction issued by the control point and a programmed processor for comparing the recognized direction of displacement with the instruction emanating from the control point.
