Aspects of the present invention relate to a control system () for identifying at least a first activity performed by a person of interest (POI-n). The control system () includes a controller having a processor () and a system memory (). The controller () is configured to receive image data (DIMG, DIMG) from at least one imaging device (C, C). The image data (DIMG, DIMG) includes at least one image frame representing an image scene including at least a portion of a person of interest (POI-n). The image data (DIMG, DIMG) is analysed to identify a skeletal model () of the at least a portion of the person of interest (POI-n); and at least one object of interest (OOI-n) with which the person of interest (POI-n) is interacting. The first activity being performed by the person of interest (POI-n) is identified in dependence on the skeletal model () and the identified object of interest (OOI-n). The present invention relates to a related method of identifying an activity being performed by a person of interest (POI-n). The present invention also relates to computer software and a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon.

Activity identification method and apparatus

A mirror and information image display assembly () for a vehicle, a holographic information image display system (), a vehicle () comprising such an assembly, and a method of providing image information to an occupant of a vehicle are disclosed. Vehicle information display assembly, system and method

The present disclosure relates to a display control apparatus () for dynamically controlling the display of information in a vehicle (). Display control apparatus and method

The present invention relates to a haptic pedal () for a vehicle (). The pedal comprises a plurality of piezoelectric actuators () operable for providing haptic feedback to a driver through the footrest () and sensing means () for mapping the area of the footrest in contact with a driver's foot so that haptic feedback is delivered by selective activation of actuators in the mapped area. The invention also comprises a haptic feedback system including the haptic pedal () and a controller () for receiving an input from the sensing means () relating to the area of the footrest in contact with the driver's foot and for delivering an output to selectively activate piezoelectric actuators overlapping the contact area in dependence on a sensed state of the vehicle. The haptic feedback system may be implemented as part of the vehicle's navigation system.

Haptic pedal

The invention relates to a display control apparatus () for dynamically controlling the display of information in a vehicle (). The display control apparatus () comprises a controller () having at least one electronic processor (). The at least one electronic processor () is configured to control first and second displays (). In dependence on a determined gaze direction of the vehicle driver, the at least one electronic processor () controls a switching module () to cause a first information data set (INF1) displayed on said first display () to be displayed on said second display (). The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the display of information in a vehicle (). One aim is to shift the driver's view back to the road.

The present application relates to a communication system for controlling the output of messages to a vehicle occupant. The communication system has a processor configured to output a first message to the vehicle occupant. A signal is received from one or more sensors operative to monitor the vehicle occupant when the first message is output. The signal from said one or more sensors is analysed to determine one or more parameters relating to the response of the vehicle occupant to said first message. The communication system controls the subsequent output of at least said first message in dependence on said one or more determined parameters. The present application also relates to a method and to a vehicle.
