A valve for a cold gas generator for an airbag in a vehicle includes: a valve chamber; a control chamber; a control piston; an overflow channel; a retaining element; and a shutoff element. The valve chamber includes an inlet from the cold gas generator and an outlet to the airbag. The control piston separates the control chamber and the valve chamber. The control piston is movable between an open position and a closed position, the control piston releasing the outlet in the open position and closing it in the closed position. The control piston has (i) a first active piston surface on the side of the valve chamber, and (ii) a second active piston surface on the side of the control chamber. The first piston surface is smaller than the second piston surface. The overflow channel fluidically connects the valve chamber and the control chamber to one another.

An activation device for a protection device includes: a body with a chamber that has, respectively at first and second ends, a medium inlet opening to a medium storage and a valve opening, and an outlet opening for discharging the medium into the protection device between the first and second ends; a valve for opening and closing the valve opening for passage of the medium; and a piston that (a) includes a passage along a main extension axis, from a first surface thereof adjacent to the medium inlet opening, to a second surface thereof, larger than the first surface and adjacent to the valve opening, and (b) is movable in the chamber by the medium and as a function of the control valve position between a position in which the at least one outlet opening is closed and a position in which the at least one outlet opening is opened.

A magnet valve configured to control a fluid includes an armature with a base region, a casing region, and a head region. The magnet valve also includes a valve element that is connected to the armature and an armature housing component. A flow path is formed between the armature and the armature housing component. The flow path runs from a lower armature chamber to an upper armature chamber and back to the lower armature chamber. The head region of the armature has a flattened section, and the upper armature chamber is defined between the armature housing component and the flattened section. At least one groove is formed on the casing region of the armature starting from the base region. The at least one groove ends in the casing region before the flattened section of the head region.

Magnet valve for controlling a fluid

A solenoid valve is disclosed that includes at least one chamber which can be filled with a fluid and which is provided in a housing of the solenoid valve, a closing piston which can be displaced by an actuation device and a spring element which can act against the actuation device. An annular element which divides the chamber into a first and a second sub-chamber is provided, said annular element being at least partially, in particular completely engaged in the axial direction by a closing piston of the solenoid valve arranged in a guide opening of the annular element and comprises at least one fluid passage recess which is different from the guide opening.

A solenoid valve for controlling a fluid includes an armature having a base region, a lateral region and a head region. The solenoid valve includes a valve member connected to the armature. The solenoid valve further includes an armature casing component in which the armature is positioned. A flow path is formed between the armature and the armature casing component, the flow path extending from a lower armature space to an upper armature space and back to the lower armature space. A junction region is arranged between the head region and the lateral region. The junction region has at least one groove formed therein to facilitate an overflow between the lateral region and the head region.

Solenoid valve for controlling a fluid

A valve module, in particular a solenoid valve for a brake system of a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The valve module includes an essentially cylindrical-shaped valve base body in which a valve needle is arranged in an axially displacable manner, and a housing cap which closes the valve base body on one end. The cap is maintained on the valve base body by at least one holding device. The maintaining device includes at least one recess on the outer surface of the cover of the valve base body into which plastically deformed material of the housing cap is introduced. A method for producing this type of valve module is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a valve cartridge for a solenoid valve, having a capsule, a magnetic armature that is movably guided within the capsule, a valve insert that is inserted into the capsule at a first end, and a valve body, which is pressed into a second end of the valve insert and has a main valve seat. The magnetic armature, moved by a generated magnetic force, moves a tappet guided within the valve insert. The tappet has a closing element with a sealing element which plunges into the main valve seat of the valve body in a sealing manner for carrying out a sealing function, and an associated solenoid valve. According to the invention the valve insert is configured as a one-part slotted bushing, and the valve body is configured as a bonnet-shaped bushing. The valve body configured as a bushing is pressed into a second end of the valve insert configured as a slotted bushing such that the main valve seat is disposed within the valve insert.

The invention relates to a magnet valve, having a valve insert and a tappet guided movably in the valve insert via a tappet guide, which tappet is braced on a valve body via a restoring spring resting a contact face of the tappet, and the restoring spring is guided radially from inside on one end by a spring guide of the tappet, the spring guide adjoining the contact face. According to the invention, centering means are present, which are disposed on the tappet in such a way that the restoring spring is centered and radially guided from inside over a substantial portion of its length.
