An instrument, particularly a medical endoscopic instrument or technoscope, includes a shank () and an instrument head (). The instrument head includes at least one joint part () articulated on the distal shank end in an angularly bendable manner and a tool carrier () which at the distal side is articulated on the joint part () in an angularly bendable manner in the angular bending plane of the joint part (). A toothing is meshed with a toothed body () rotatably mounted in the shank () and is coupled in movement to a pull cable pair for the movement control of the instrument head (). The toothing is formed at the proximal end of the joint part ().

An endoscope includes a window on a distal end of the endoscope, an interior body with a first material on the distal end, and a mantle with a second material on the distal end, such that the window and the interior body are joined.

An endoscope with an instrument housing and with a shaft that is mounted on the distal end of the instrument housing and consists of an outer tube and an inner tube that is mounted at least partly in the outer tube, so that the outer tube and the inner tube are mounted on the instrument housing so that they can move with respect to one another in the axial direction of the shaft. To provide an endoscope that ensures a constantly fluid-tight relative motion of the two shaft tubes with respect to one another, it is proposed with the invention that the outer tube and inner tube should be mounted on the instrument housing so that they are mobile with respect to one another in the axial direction of the shaft by means of at least one flexible membrane.

A medical instrument has a cannula and a seal disposed in the cannula. An expansion device serves for expanding an opening in the seal for guiding shafts of other instruments of greater diameter in a sealed manner through the expanded opening. The expansion device has an expansion cone with a plurality of slats mounted pivotably on an annular body at a first end thereof, a second end of the slats being connected to the seal in an area of the opening. The slats are connected at its first ends to the annular body via spherical heads engaged into corresponding openings in the annular body.

The invention relates to a medical instrument having a hollow shaft, a tool positioned on the distal end of the shaft consisting of a rigid jaw member and a jaw member that can rotate with respect to the rigid jaw member, as well as a handle positioned on the proximal end of the shaft. The tool and the handle are in active connection with one another by a push-pull rod mounted in the shaft, and the jaw members of the tool are mounted on one another by pins. It is proposed with the invention that the push-pull rod should be configured as a hollow slide tube mounted in the shaft so that it can slide axially and is in active connection with the rotatable jaw member by an actuation element that is essentially rod-shaped.

The invention relates to a valve device for medical instruments, in particular trocars, having a valve body configured as a flap for opening and closing an instrument and/or flow channel, which is positioned rotatably on a rotation axle positioned in a housing. To create a valve device, which combines simple and cost-effective structure with good cleaning properties, it is proposed with the invention that the rotation axle is configured in several components, such that the individual components of the rotation axle can be connected to one another by helical-shaped guide tracks.

A holder for optical components includes a two-part holder housing that forms an essentially ring-shaped enclosure surrounding an optical component; in addition the two housing parts have different thermal expansion coefficients. To create a holder for optical components that is both simple in structure and ensures a low-tension and insulated enclosure of the optical component, it is proposed with the invention that one housing part should be configured as a ring that surrounds the optical component and on whose housing interior close to the optical component a groove should be configured that surrounds and encloses the optical component and serves as a receptacle for the second housing part, which is configured as a tension ring.

An expansion device serves for expanding said opening in said seal. Said expansion device has an expansion cone comprising a plurality of slats mounted pivotably on an annular body at a first end, a second end of said slots opposite to said first end being connected to said seal in an area of said opening. A flexible casing structure is provided accommodating said seal and said expansion device.
