A method for actuating an electromechanical switching element including a plurality of contacts, a coil with an iron core, and an armature includes: in the event that a predefined condition is fulfilled, in a switch-off process pulsing on and off or in the switch-on process pulsing off and on of the switching element is carried out repeatedly at a predefined time within an overtravel range such that a coil current flowing into the coil oscillates between a predefined maximum value and a minimum value so that the armature moves within the overtravel range and the plurality of contacts thereby rub against each other without becoming detached from each other. The minimum value is defined as a current value at a time at which the armature begins to detach from the iron core.

Method for actuating an electromechanical switching element

A switching monitoring device for monitoring a switching operation of a relay switching contact of a relay includes a control terminal, a controller, and an impedance circuit. The control terminal is configured to apply a control signal for switching the relay switching contact to the relay switching contact. The controller is configured to produce an excitation signal. The impedance circuit has a signal input and a signal output, and the controller applies the excitation signal to the signal input. The impedance circuit converts the excitation signal into a switching monitoring signal and outputs the switching monitoring signal at the signal output for application to the relay switching contact. The controller is further configured to detect a change in a signal present at the impedance circuit and, if the change in the signal is present, detect the switching operation of the relay switching contact.

Switching monitoring device

A circuit assembly includes a first signal branch connecting a signal connection to an electrical load via a semiconductor switch and a second signal branch connecting the signal connection to the electrical load via a relay. When a sensor detects a polarity change in an electrical signal within a test time interval, a controller may close the semiconductor switch at a first signal time such that electrical energy is supplied to the electrical load, actuate the relay at a second signal time after the semiconductor switch has been closed, and open the semiconductor switch after the relay has been closed such that electrical energy is supplied to the electrical load solely via the second signal branch.

The disclosure relates to a relay having a controllable relay contact, having an electrical connection terminal where an electrical variable is able to be tapped, a control connection for receiving a control signal for actuating the relay contact, and a controller, configured, in response to the reception of the control signal, to detect a zero crossing of the electrical variable and to actuate the controllable relay contact in a time-delayed manner after the zero crossing of the electrical variable.

A method and device for short circuit monitoring of a three-phase load connected to a three-phase grid, to improve short circuit monitoring of a three-phase load, the device having at least one current sensor arranged in the current path of one phase of the three-phase grid, and a processing unit for evaluating the measurement values of the at least one current sensor, having a respective port for each current sensor, to which the respective current sensor is connected via a connecting line. The processing unit is configured to detect a short circuit on the three-phase load through evaluation of the measurement values determined by the current sensor. The evaluation includes a plausibility check of the determined measurement values in order to distinguish between a short circuit and an influence on the determined measurement values by electrical and/or electromagnetic interference.

Loop bridge

The disclosure relates to a loop bridge for looping through a number of electrical signals, comprising: a first electric module comprising a plurality of first electric connections, wherein the plurality of electrical signals are looped through the first electric module to a second electric module comprising a number of second electric connections; and a comb-shaped conducting element comprising a number of first prongs and a number of second prongs, wherein the first prongs are configured to be inserted into the first electric connections and the second prongs are configured to be inserted into the second electric connections, wherein the first prongs are connected to the second prongs in an electrically conductive manner, and wherein the first prongs and the second prongs are configured to be elastically deformed to be retained in a force-locking manner in the first and second electric connections, respectively.

Loop bridge for looping through a number of electrical signals

The present disclosure relates to a short-circuit sensor for detecting a short-circuit current in an electrical line. The short-circuit sensor includes an integrator, a coupling device, and a detection device. The coupling device is configured to inductively couple the integrator to the electrical line and to supply an induced signal to the integrator. The integrator is configured to integrate the induced signal to obtain an integrated signal. The detection device is configured to compare an amplitude value of the integrated signal with a prescribed threshold value and to detect the short-circuit current if the amplitude value of the integrated signal exceeds the prescribed threshold value.

The present disclosure relates to a connecting adapter configured to connect to a terminal assembly. The connecting terminal assembly includes a plurality of electrical connecting terminals. The connecting adapter includes a printed circuit board that includes a comb-type conducting structure. The comb-type conducting structure includes a plurality of comb teeth, and each comb tooth includes an electrical contact surface. The connecting adapter also includes an electrical plug connector interface including a plug connector. The electrical plug connector interface includes electrical terminals electrically connected to the electrical contact surfaces of the comb teeth. An apparatus for short-circuit protection of a three-phase load in a three-phase system includes an input for connection of the apparatus to a three-phase network, an output for connection of the three-phase load to the apparatus, a means for producing an auxiliary short circuit in the three-phase network by ignition of the means, a means for identifying a short circuit at the three-phase load, and a means for generating an ignition pulse upon identification of the short circuit. The means for producing the auxiliary short circuit and the means for identifying the short circuit are provided in the current path between the input and the output. The means for producing the auxiliary short circuit is ignitable by the ignition pulse. The means for generating the ignition pulse is formed so that the ignition pulse can be generated by a short-circuit current established by the means for identifying the short circuit.

Electrical apparatus for the short-circuit protection of a three-phase load in a three-phase system

A cooling element for electronic or electromechanical components includes a metal element defining a receiving space and a receiving groove associated with the receiving space. The receiving space has an inner wall and is configured to receive an electronic or electromechanical component by an insertion of the electronic or electromechanical component in an insertion direction. A cooling element for heat dissipation in one or more electronic components includes a metal element with one or more slit-shaped receiving openings for one or more electronic components that are to be cooled. In its lengthwise extension, each receiving opening has a receiving bore that holds a helical spring and that runs parallel to the lengthwise extension. The receiving bore is arranged in such a way that it is open on the lengthwise side towards the receiving opening and the spring placed in it projects with a radial partial section into the receiving opening that holds the electronic component. As a result, in partial areas, the spring presses the electronic component against the inner wall of the receiving opening that lies opposite from the spring, thus establishing thermal contact.
