A bumper arrangement for a motor vehicle has a crossmember and crash boxes which are arranged in each case at the end of the crossmember, and also outer end modules. Each end module has a shell body and a shield which covers the front side of the shell body at least in certain regions, wherein the shell body is joined to a crash box, and an end of the crossmember is joined to a respective shell body. The bumper arrangement has a functionally high energy absorption capacity with a modularized design.

A bumper assembly for a motor vehicle has a cross member and crash boxes. The cross member has a front side open profile with a rear wall and an upper leg and a lower leg. Furthermore, a tow bushing is provided. The tow bushing is able to be arranged above the upper leg or below the lower leg and is able to be arranged laterally offset next to a crash box.

A motor vehicle bumper that has a transverse carrier which can be secured transversely relative to the longitudinal carriers of the motor vehicle by crash boxes. The transverse carrier has a shell member which is open toward the front side and which has a rear wall and two outer members which are both adjoined at the end side by an outwardly directed longitudinal flange. The shell member has a central longitudinal portion which is adjoined in the direction toward the two ends of the transverse carrier by a transition portion, an intermediate portion, a crash box connection portion and an end portion. The invention relates to a bumper arrangement with a crossmember and two crashboxes which are in each case connectable on one side to the crossmember on an outer region thereof and are arrangeable on the other side on a vehicle-side longitudinal member. It is distinguished in that the crossmember has a hollow chamber profile with a hollow chamber which is round at least in sections in cross section, which hollow chamber profile is arranged in a crossmember longitudinal axis running perpendicularly to the vehicle center longitudinal axis.

A bumper for a motor vehicle includes a crossbeam having a hat profile defined by a bottom wall, legs respectively adjoining the bottom wall, and flanges respectively extending from the legs. The hat profile has sections of varying cross sectional configuration in a longitudinal direction.
