An exhaust gas treatment device for arranging in an exhaust gas section of a motor vehicle that includes a heating disk which is assigned to an exhaust gas aftertreatment component. The heating disk is configured by way of a flat heating element and a holder which is coupled to the former. The holder extends over the cross-sectional area of the heating element, and the holder itself is of disk-shaped configuration. The inner face of the heating disk is configured by way of arcuate spokes which are coupled irregularly to one another.

A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates brought into abutment, with a solder material between the plates. The plates are heated up to a first temperature. The plates are placed into a mold, the mold surfaces of which have cavities for envisaged channel structures. Channel structures are formed by local internal pressure forming of at least one plate under pressurization by the tool. The plates are heated up to a second temperature. The plates are solder bonded at the abuted surfaces. A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates, wherein channel structures have been formed in at least one plate and the plates are bonded to one another by soldering away from the channel structures. Eutectic microstructures having a longest extent of less than 50 micrometers are formed in the solder layer.

SCR exhaust aftertreatment device

A turbine housing for a turbocharger is provided. The turbine housing includes an exterior housing and an interior housing as well as a bearing flange. The exterior housing is connected to the bearing flange. The interior housing includes a flange socket on which the bearing flange is positioned. A fastening ring is inserted inside in the bearing flange and connected to the flange socket, with the bearing flange being fixed in the axial direction (AR) by the fastening ring.

An exhaust manifold for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine is disclosed having a housing, an inlet flange which can be fixed to the cylinder head of the internal combustion engine and has a plurality of inlet openings, and an exhaust outlet. The housing comprises an inner shell and an outer shell, an insulating material being incorporated between the outer shell and the inner shell. A guide plate is provided on the inlet flange side of the inner shell and the outer shell. The guide plate has inflow openings which correspond with the inlet openings of the inlet flange and is joined to the inlet flange. The outer shell engages with its inlet flange-side edge around the guide plate and is joined to the inlet flange and the guide plate.

A double-walled turbocharger housing made of sheet metal includes an inner sheet metal shell which conducts hot exhaust gases and a relatively cold outer sheet metal shell which is spaced apart from the inner sheet metal shell via an air gap. The double-walled turbocharger housing is connected to a bearing flange with a circumferential collar via a common welding seam. The bearing flange is provided with a collar on an outside which faces away from the hot exhaust gas. An outer end of the inner sheet metal shell is provided with a collar with which it embraces the outer sheet metal shell. Both sheet metal shells are connected with the collar of the bearing flange via a common welding seam, wherein an air gap is present between the inner sheet metal shell and the outer sheet metal shell up to the outer end of the inner sheet metal shell.

An exhaust manifold for a combustion engine of a motor vehicle includes a two-shell construction comprised of an outer system and an inner system. A flange is positioned at a side proximal to a cylinder head of the combustion engine for installation to the combustion engine, and an insulation sleeve connects the inner system with the flange and the outer system. The insulation sleeve is sized to extend through an opening of the flange and to project beyond the flange into the cylinder head of the combustion engine.

An exhaust manifold for installation onto a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine includes a housing having plural inlet openings and an outlet opening. The housing includes an inner shell and an outer shell in surrounding relationship to the inner shell to define a gap there between. The inner shell is floatingly arranged in the outer shell and rests at a side of the cylinder head upon a guide plate which is formed with the plural inlet openings and includes guide members respectively arranged about a circumference of the inlet openings. The outer shell has a cylinder-head-proximal marginal region formed with an outwardly bent flange that rests upon the guide plate and is joined in gastight manner to the guide plate by a material joint. The flange has an outer side in opposition to the guide plate, with a collar being arranged on the outer side of the flange.

A turbine housing of an exhaust gas turbocharger, includes an outer housing in which an inner housing with a tubular nozzle and an outlet duct for connection to an exhaust gas system is arranged. The outlet duct is coupled with the tubular nozzle for movement relative to the nozzle via a seal ring. The seal ring is inwardly everted and pushed onto the nozzle and embraced by an inner-housing support ring, so that a fluid tight fit on the inner housing nozzle is ensured. The seal ring is further pushed onto the outlet duct and there also coupled onto the outlet duct with an outlet duct support ring in a fluid tight manner so that an especially durable connection is created. Both support rings are additionally coupled in a materially bonded manner with the seal ring and the outlet duct nozzle or with the inner housing.

Exhaust gas turbocharger housing

A turbine housing of an exhaust gas turbocharger includes an outer housing, in which an inner housing with a tubular nozzle and an outlet duct for connection to an exhaust gas system is arranged, wherein the outlet duct is coupled to the tubular nozzle via a sealing lip for relative movement. The sealing lip is inwardly evertedly pushed onto the nozzle and for positional fixing, a sliding sleeve is further arranged on the nozzle, wherein the sliding sleeve and the nozzle form a gap in which an end of the sealing lip is received. This avoids that the sealing lip lifts of due to pressure differences and thus that gas leaks occur. Further, an end of the sealing lip is arranged so as to be thermally protected.
