A bodywork frame for a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, has two lateral load bearing columns. The columns are supported on each other at a roof side via a pressure-stable cross member and at a floor side on a longitudinal tunnel and via pressure-stable seat cross members.

A supporting pillar for a body frame of a passenger motor vehicle comprises a pillar-shaped hollow body with at least one profile shell. In the hollow body, a tubular body is arranged which essentially extends longitudinally through the hollow body and is attached to it. A lower region of the tubular body is held in a bracket attached to the profile shell. The bracket comprises two walls spaced apart from each other longitudinally. Each wall comprises a receiving aperture into which the lower region of the tubular body has been inserted, with the tubular body being attached at the receiving aperture to this bracket. The tubular body rests against, and is attached to the profile shell along a straight line, and is inclined in relation to a vertical line perpendicular to the walls of the bracket. The tubular body has an elbow between its lower region, and the region resting against the profile shell along the line.

A louver vent is disclosed which has successive levels, in flow direction, of in each case one set of slats which are pivoted by means of a joint operating handle. In order to provide air deflection corresponding to the associated slat position, at least one single slat is positioned ahead of the row of slats first subjected to flow, which single slat is arranged close to a housing wall of the slat of one of the rows of slats which is in the same alignment close to the wall. The single slat is moved, during the shifting of the operating handle, into a selected end position against the pivoting direction of the actuated slats after passing over their central position, so that the air stream is directed away from the housing wall and in the direction of the associated, oppositely disposed slats.

A component group of electromagnetically shiftable directional control valves which can be installed in a simple manner includes 2/2- and 3/2-directional control valves preassembled on an electrical printed circuit board and secured in common with the printed circuit board by plugging-in the directional control valves into plug-in receptacles of a base element and by fastening a cover at the base element in the housing formed by the base element and the cover; a pneumatic main channel extends between the base element and the cover which is in fluidic communication with several directional control valves and which is tightly closed off by fastening the cover at the base element.
