A sealant applicator nozzle, of the present technology, has a fan-shaped profile, with a broad concave arc that defines a distal end of the nozzle and provides the nozzle with a tooling edge. The concave tooling edge, along with the outlet orifice, and two surface-contact edges are positioned to equidistantly straddle a lap joint to be sealed when in operation. In methods of using the nozzle, a wide ribbon of sealant is applied in a smoothly arched geometry, forming a segment of a circle, over a lap joint so that the thickest part of the arch is centered directly on the edge of the overlapping material that forms the lap joint.

Sealant applicator and methods of use

A system and method for providing custom colored sealant are generally provided with a dispensing container, containing a quantity of sealant base solution. A bottom wall of the dispensing container is positioned to limit any headspace within the interior of the dispensing container until the contents are ready to be mixed. The bottom wall is moved prior to adding a coloring agent to the dispensing container, which is mixed with the sealant base by agitating the dispensing container, until a desired color is attained. A sealant thickener may then be added and mixed by similar agitation of the dispensing container. A rod may be provided to engage and move the bottom wall. A pull string may also be provided to move the bottom wall. A nozzle is then coupled with the dispensing container and the custom-colored sealant is ready to be dispensed.

System and method of providing individual quantities of custom colored sealing compound

A system and method for providing custom colored sealant are generally provided with a dispensing container, containing a quantity of sealant base solution. A nozzle, is shaped and sized to be removably secured with an open end portion of the dispensing container. A supplemental container is provided that contains a quantity of sealant thickener. A quantity of at least one coloring agent is added to the dispensing container and mixed with the sealant base solution, by agitating the dispensing container, until a desired color is attained. The sealant thickener is then added and the dispensing container is then agitated again. The nozzle is then coupled with the dispensing container and the custom-colored sealant is ready to be dispensed.

A targeting system and methods of use provide a player of a first person shooter video game with enhanced weapon targeting. Vertical and horizontal lines extend outwardly from a game reticule. In some embodiments, the vertical and horizontal lines or bands extend across the display screen. The present technology can be applied to display screens mechanically or electronically. In some embodiments an electronic device is situated between the gaming console and the display screen. In other embodiments, a piece of clear, thin-film material is cut to approximate the dimensions of the screen, with the key graphical design elements of the present invention screen printed on the piece of plastic. Static electricity may hold the film in place. In other embodiments, the film may be held in place by pressure sensitive adhesive, brackets, or the like.

Targeting system and method for video games

A system and method for custom coloring sealant is generally provided with one or more dispensing cartridges, containing a quantity of low viscosity sealant base solution, which in some embodiments is as fluid, or more-so, as common latex paint. One or more such dispensing cartridges are secured within a cartridge case. A coloring agent is added to the dispensing cartridge. The system may then be agitated by hand or in a mechanical agitator, such as a commercial paint shaker, until a desired color is attained. The sealant thickener may then be added and mixed by similar agitation of the system to obtain a non-sag, high viscosity sealant. Embodiments of the cartridge case are provided for use with various mechanical agitators and dispensing cartridges.

System for providing custom colored sealing compound

An angled bracket having first and second opposing, generally planar sections is positioned so that protrusions extending from the first planar section engage a portion of roof sheathing and the second planar section is positioned against a rafter. Mechanical fasteners may secure the second planar section to the rafter. Adhesive is disposed through fill apertures in the first planar section until a layer of adhesive is formed between the bracket and the sheathing. A second angular section may extend from the opposite side of the bracket, enabling the bracket to sandwich the rafter. Gussets may be used to brace the first and second planar sections. Indicator apertures allow a user to ensure the layer of adhesive substantially covers the first planar section.

System and method of securing roofing components with one another

A system and method for providing custom colored sealant are generally provided with a dispensing container, containing a quantity of sealant base solution. A transfer pipette may be provided for selectively transferring a coloring agent to the dispensing container. The nozzle is then coupled with the dispensing container and the custom-colored sealant is ready to be dispensed.

A method of filling a collapsible package in a cartridge for use with a caulking gun is provided. The method comprises pressurizing an internal space of a collapsible package to expand the package. Drawing a vacuum external to the collapsible package and removing the positive internal pressure. The vacuum maintains the package in an expanded state. A nozzle is then inserted into the collapsible package to reverse fill the package with a vicious material.

Method of filling dispensing cartridges having collapsible packages

A cartridge for use with a conventional caulking gun, the cartridge comprising a substantially rigid cartridge body having a cartridge nozzle end, a cartridge plunger end, and a cartridge nozzle edge. The cartridge also has at least one collapsible package that includes a package nozzle end, a package plunger end, a package nozzle end edge, and a package inside space where a package retaining collar has at least one inside perimeter edge that defines at least one collar passageway. The at least one collapsible package is disposed at least partially within the substantially rigid cartridge body such that the package plunger end is disposed towards the cartridge plunger end and the package opening is disposed towards the nozzle end opening and the nozzle end opening is sufficiently hermetically sealed to allow drawing a vacuum.
