The invention relates to a gripper apparatus for a cannulation robot and for gripping a cannula having a cannula holder. The gripper apparatus comprises two gripper elements and a moving device. The two gripper elements can be moved relative to each other and work in concert to grip the cannula holder. The moving device is designed to move the two gripper elements relative to each other and at least one of the gripper elements relative to the cannula holder. The gripper apparatus can thereby be brought into a gripping state, in which at least one of the gripper elements is engaged with the cannula holder, by means of the moving device.

Gripper apparatus for cannulas

An apparatus is provided for producing and/or disengaging a fluid flow-capable medical threaded connection. The connection can be a Luer lock connection. The apparatus includes a first receiving device for receiving a first connecting element, and a second receiving device for receiving a second connecting element. The first receiving device and the second receiving device are rotatable relative to each other about a common screwing axis, and displaceable relative to each other along the screwing axis. The apparatus is designed to relatively move the first receiving device and the second receiving device toward and away from each other such that the first connecting element and the second connecting element can be screwed together or disengaged. An associated connecting element can be introduced into the first receiving device and/or into the second receiving device, in a radial direction relative to the screwing axis. Apparatus for identifying and manipulating a blood vessel, and corresponding method

The invention relates to a cannulation robot for the automated affixing of a cannula to a patient. The cannulation robot comprises a fixing apparatus for affixing the cannula to the patient by means of an adhesive carrier. The cannulation robot comprises a positioning device designed to position a cannula holder of the cannula to an area of the patient's skin. The cannulation robot comprises an actuator device for a guide means, wherein the guide means is designed to guide the adhesive carrier to said skin area. The actuator device is designed to activate the guide means and thereby move the adhesive carrier by means of the guide means toward the skin area, wherein the adhesive carrier contacts the skin area as a result of the movement and adheres to same as well as is disposed such that it is connected to the cannula at least after being adhered.

This disclosure relates to a method for determining a fluid balance between a first volume flow in a first section of a fluid circuit and a second volume flow of a second section of the fluid circuit. The method may also include adjusting, assuming or detecting a first temperature in the first section of the fluid circuit and a second temperature in the second section of the fluid circuit, or detecting a temperature difference between the first and the second sections. The method may also include detecting a second volume flow in a second section of the fluid circuit and forming a balance from at least the first volume flow and a corrected value of the second volume flow. An assembly includes at least two medical treatment units, each of which can be allocated to a patient and at least two peripheral devices, each of which can be allocated to a patient. The peripheral devices and the treatment units have means for allocating a peripheral device to a treatment unit and means for verifying the allocation of a peripheral device to a patient. To allocate a peripheral device to a treatment unit, the peripheral device is placed by operators in a receiving unit belonging to the treatment unit. Said receiving unit is preferably designed as a charging station for the battery of the peripheral device. In the event of a successful allocation of peripheral device and patient, confirmed by the receipt of physiological data of the patient, the operators verify the correct allocation of a peripheral device to the patient and must confirm the correct allocation by confirmation means. The peripheral device is only released if the operator has confirmed the correct allocation, preferably within a predefined time period.

A method and device for determining the concentration of blood constituents, in particular haemoglobin, in a hose line of an extracorporeal blood circuit of an extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus, and an extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus with a device for determining the concentration of a blood constituent, are based on the correction of the influence of the blood flow rate of the blood flowing through the hose line on the determination of the concentration of the blood constituent. The device comprises a computing and evaluation unit configured such that a correction factor is ascertained for the influence of the blood flow rate on the determination of the concentration of the blood constituent. The concentration of the blood constituent is then determined based on a relationship describing the dependence of the concentration of the blood constituent on the intensity of the decoupled electromagnetic radiation, taking account of the correction factor.

A device for determining the concentration of a constituent of blood in a hose line, in particular in the hose line of an extracorporeal blood circuit of an extracorporeal blood treatment apparatus, includes a clamping unit having an actuation mechanism configured to apply a clamping force such that first and second receiving elements are moved towards one another from a first position releasing the hose line into a second position clamping the hose line, in which the drive of the actuation mechanism takes place with an electric motor, and a monitoring unit configured to detect a hose line inserted into the receiving elements. A method for detecting a hose line in a clamping unit of a device for determining the concentration of a blood constituent in the hose line is also described. Automation of the measurement of the blood parameters is thus possible.
