The present invention is directed to a scalp care composition comprising from about 1% to about 99% of a volatile carrier wherein less than about 10% is a volatile solvent; from about 0.05% to about 10% of a polymeric rheology modifier and mixtures thereof; from about 0.03% to about 1% of particulate scalp benefit agent; from about 0.1% to about 5% of a solubilizing agent wherein the composition is shear thinning and has a zero shear viscosity value measured at 0.01 Pa of greater than about 1,500 Pa s.

Scalp care composition with well dispersed particulate scalp benefit agents

A scalp care composition directed to a scalp care composition comprising from about 0.05% to about 5% of an anti-dandruff active, from about 0.1% to about 25% of one or more organic solvents, from about 1% to about 99% of a volatile carrier wherein the anti-dandruff active is soluble in the scalp care composition.

A scalp care composition comprising from 1% to 99% of a volatile carrier; from 0.05% to 10% of a polymeric rheology modifier and mixtures thereof; from 0.03% to 1% of particulate scalp benefit agent wherein the composition is shear thinning and has (1) a zero shear viscosity value measured at 0.01 Pa of greater than about 1,500 Pa s; (2) a moderate stress viscosity value measured at 1 Pa viscosity of greater than about 1,000 Pa s; and (3) a high shear rate viscosity value measured at 100 l/s of less than about 0.5 Pa s.

A shampoo composition having from about 5% to about 50% of a combination of sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth-n sulfate, less than 3.82% of sodium laureth-n sulfate having n&#x3e;1. The shampoo composition further includes from about 0.5% to about 3% of a co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of amphoteric, zwitterionic, and nonionic surfactants. The shampoo composition has a dispersed gel network phase having at least 0.05% of one or more fatty alcohols, at least 0.01% of one or more secondary surfactants, and water. The shampoo composition further includes at least about 20% of an aqueous carrier. The shampoo composition further has an enthalpy of transition from about 0 J/g to about 0.2 J/g as measured according to differential scanning calorimetry in a peak melt transition temperature range between about 18&#xb0; C. to about 30&#xb0; C.
