A tubing assembly for use in providing a flow of positive pressure breathing gas to a patient. The tubing assembly includes a manifold portion structured to receive the flow of positive pressure breathing gas, a number of tubular portions which each extend from the manifold portion to a distal end which is structured to be coupled to a patient interface for use in delivering the flow of positive pressure breathing gas to the patient, and a reflectance pulse oximetry sensor positioned in or on one of the number of tubular portions. The sensor is structured to be disposed adjacent the patient when the tubing assembly is disposed on the patient for determining blood oxygen saturation levels of the patient.

A system for capturing a 3D image of a subject includes a detection device which is structured to capture images of the subject and surrounding environment, a projection device which is structured to provide a source of structured light, and a processing unit in communication with the detection device and the projection device. The processing unit is programmed to: analyze an image of the subject captured by the detection device; modify one or more of: the output of the projection device or the intensity of a source of environmental lighting illuminating the subject based on the analysis of the image; and capture a 3D image of the subject with the detection device and the projection device using the modified one or more of the output of the projection device or the intensity of the source of environmental lighting illuminating the subject.

System and method for 3D scanning

A customized sealing member is for a customized mask. The customized mask includes a support member. The customized sealing member is manufactured by the process of generating surface geometry data of a face of a patient, the surface geometry data corresponding to and representing a surface geometry of the face of the patient; providing a directing apparatus shaped according to the surface geometry data, the directing apparatus being structured to receive and direct a stock of material; and inserting the stock of material into the directing apparatus in order to produce the customized sealing member.

Adjustable headgear

A respiratory interface device including a fluid coupling device having a main body and an exhalation plate having a plurality of vent holes, the exhalation plate being separate from and coupled to the main body. The present invention further relates to a fluid coupling device including an exhaust portion having a plurality of vent holes having a tapered shape. A set of the vent holes has an incident angle that radiates and originates from a common point. The present invention also relates to an exhalation mechanism including a plurality of vent holes defined by a continuous straight inner wall extending from an interior surface to an exterior surface wherein an exterior circumference of the vent hole is offset with respect to an interior circumference.

Exhaust vent configuration

A patient interface device that includes a mask shell and a cushion assembly. The cushion assembly includes a seal cushion and a support cushion. The seal cushion contacts a first area of a patient's face to form a seal therewith. The support cushion defines a second area over a face of such a patient when the patient interface device is being worn. The second area overlaps at least a portion of the first area.
