A system includes a computing device comprising a memory storing instructions configured to cause a processor to receive: purchase data associated with products purchased by a user, online activity data performed by the user and other users and associated with information pertaining to the products, and vendor information comprising retail sales data, after-market sales data, and product availability associated with the products. The processor determines one or more values of the products based on the purchase data, the online activity data, and the vendor information and whether the purchased products correspond to specialty products based on the purchase data, the online activity data, and the values of the products. The processor may then send a notification to the user comprising an offer for insurance for the products in response to determining the products correspond to specialty products.

System and methods for detecting and insuring specialty products

A first inspection of insured property is performed to detect hazardous conditions related to the insured property. This first inspection is performed using a first set of imagery data received from one or more imagery data sources. A computer device and method for processing informatic data from one or more sensor devices associated with a property covered by an insurance policy. Analysis is performed on the informatic data received from sensor devices to determine a cost associated with operating the insured property. Operational changes are identified and recommended regarding one or more operational aspects of the insured property to achieve a cost savings for operating the insured property. If one or more recommended operational changes are implemented, a cost savings is calculated which is attributable to the one or more operational changes. Monetary funds are transferred from a first financial account to a second financial account associated with a user of the insured property whereby the transfer funds amount is dependent upon the calculated cost savings.

A system and method provide determining a wildfire risk associated with home and identifying mitigatable features located on and around the home. An inspection list of questions is presented to a user through a mobile computing device, and images are captured by a camera included in the mobile computing device. In an embodiment, an image can be captured using augmented visual assistance through a mobile application. A wildfire risk associated with the home can be determined at least based on answers to the questions in the inspection list and captured images. In another embodiment, a virtual reality game for simulating a wildfire behavior is provided. The wildfire behavior can be re-simulated during the game after removing or modifying mitigatable features on or around the home. In yet another embodiment, a system and method for determining a building status and location is provided in real-time during an active fire.
