A camera optical sensor is disposed at a distal end portion of a camera watch band that attaches a watch body to a user's wrist. The camera watch band is configured to be coupled to at least one side of the watch body, and the camera watch band includes an optical sensor or camera, and an operable connection to transfer data between the optical sensor and the display or other device. The band is flexible and may be manipulated by a user to aim an optical sensor disposed at the distal end portion of the camera watch band separately from the watch body. The display or other device functions as the viewfinder for the optical sensor.

An apparatus capable of interacting with another device, includes: a module configured to provide a functionality, where the apparatus is configurable to support a second module for providing an additional functionality in order to permit variable functionality by the apparatus. The functionality may relate to an input-function and/or an output function. A method of providing functionality in a variable-function device, includes: removing a functionality from another device that can communicate with the variable-function device; and providing the removed functionality in the variable-function device.

Variable-function or multi-function apparatus and methods

The present invention is directed to an optical light pipe assembly for an optical drive which can accommodate optical drives from various manufacturers. The light pipe assembly is particularly useful in a tower configuration computer case. Advantageously, various optical drives, such as CD ROMs, DVDs, DVD-ROMs, CDRWs, DVDRWs, etc. can be purchased from different manufacturers having different LED locations yet the optical drive can be covered but the light emitted by the LED is visible.

The present invention is directed to an access door assembly for a computer case in which a drive door can be easily opened, thereby allowing access to the module data storage media drive which is connected to the removable door. Advantageously, the use of an access door which is easily opened facilitates upgrade and/or maintenance and repair of the removable media drive. The media drive can be, for example, a floppy disc drive or a hard disc drive. Because of the ease of use, the access door can be opened by a person without any technical skill, thereby lowering warranty costs. Maintenance and upgrades can be done by an unskilled consumer without the necessity of either having to ship the computer back to the manufacturer or have a service technician visit the consumer.
