The present disclosure relates to thermoplastic bags with liquid absorption capabilities. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed thermoplastic bags include a first sidewall and a second sidewall joined together along a first side edge, a second side edge, and a bottom edge, while having an opening opposite the bottom edge. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the disclosed thermoplastic bags have an absorbent adhesive material disposed on at least one of the first sidewall and the second sidewall. In some embodiments, the absorbent adhesive material is configured to absorb twenty to fifty milliliters of liquid while maintaining a viscosity above fifteen thousand centipoises.

A multi-layered beauty care product is provided. The beauty care product has a layer of a water-soluble film zone with a water-soluble film forming polymer and a cosmetic composition with a skin active agent. The product also has a vapor-deposited coating. The vapor-deposited coating is a poly(p-xylylene) polymer and/or a metal oxide inorganic coating.

Disclosed are composition and methods for treating skin whereby a cosmetic composition is applied to a target area of skin. The cosmetic composition comprises an effective amount of a skin active agent. A barrier patch is also provided and has a backing layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive. The barrier patch has an adhesive release force of about 50 gms to about 400 gms; a WVTR from about 1 g/m/24 h to about 500 g/m/24 h; and a flexibility from about 8 grams to about 40 grams.

A beauty care product is provided. The beauty care product is a multi-layered barrier patch with a water soluble film zone comprising a polyethylene oxide, methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, and combinations thereof, and a cosmetic composition comprising an effective amount of a skin active agent. A method of producing a multi-layer beauty care product for applying a skin active agent to the skin. The method involves applying a water-soluble fluid to a transfer substrate. The water-soluble fluid contains a skin active agent and is applied to the transfer substrate through an image carrier having a mesh size of 40 to 500. The water-soluble fluid is dried to form a water-soluble film, which is then transferred to a backing layer coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The resulting multi-layer beauty care product provides a suitable a means of delivering the skin care active agent to a target portion of skin.

Method of making a barrier patch with soluble film

A beauty care product is provided. The beauty care product has a multi-layered barrier patch with a non-foamed first layer and a foamed second layer. The non-foamed first layer has a non-foamed polymer film with a first surface and a thickness from 5 microns to 250 microns. The foamed second layer has a foamed polymer film comprising a Mean Void Volume Percentage from 45% to 80% and a thickness of from 10 microns to 250 microns. The beauty care product also has a cosmetic composition with an effective amount of a skin active agent and a pressure sensitive adhesive.
