The present invention relates to a device, system and a method for optimizing syringe based drug delivery profile with a treatment element and in particular, to such a device, system and method in which optimization is based on a plurality of data that directly and/or indirectly affect the optimization of the drug delivery profile. The device facilitating syringe based drug delivery, by optimizing drug delivery of the injected drug, records user's activity, and data relative to drug injections, comprising a disposable unit configured for a single use period and a rechargeable reusable unit having electronics comprising a sensor module.

Device, system and method for facilitating syringe based drug delivery and management thereof

Embodiments of the present invention provide Dermal Micro-organs (DMOs), methods and apparatuses for harvesting the same. Some embodiments of the invention provide a DMO including a plurality of dermal components, which substantially retain the micro-architecture and three dimensional structure of the dermal tissue from which they are derived. An apparatus for harvesting the DMO may include, according to some exemplary embodiments, a support configuration to support a skin-related tissue structure from which the DMO is to be harvested, and a cutting tool able to separate the DMO to from the skin-related tissue structure. Exemplary embodiments of the invention provide a genetically modified dermal micro-organ expressing at least one recombinant gene product. Some embodiments of the invention provide methods and apparatuses for implanting a genetically modified DMO.

Dermal micro-organs, methods and apparatuses for producing and using the same

A device and method for delivering a therapeutic substance to the body of a mammal may include a pump adapter, a pump, and an infusion set having a distal connector and a proximal connector. The proximal connector and the pump adapter have connecting electrical contacts which can be connected to one another in a single action when the proximal connector and pump are being secured to the pump adapter. The distal connector of the infusion set can be connected to a catheter housing, which can be secured to the mammal's skin. The distal connector and the catheter housing have additional connecting electrical contacts which can be connected to one another in a single action when connecting the distal connector to the catheter housing.
