The present disclosure relates to cosmetic agents for cleaning and/or conditioning of hair, which, contain at least one hydrophobic fumed silica in addition to a specific combination of at least two different surfactants. These agents achieve an outstanding cleaning and/or conditioning performance and an increase in hair volume. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to the use of at least one hydrophobic fumed silica in cosmetic agents for cleaning and/or conditioning of hair to increase the hair volume and/or improve lasting hold of the hair volume.

Hair treatment agents with hydrophobic fumed silica

A hair treatment agent having advantageous properties is provided. The hair treatment agent contains, based on weight of the agent, 0.00001 to &#x2266;0.05% by weight of at least one oligopeptide having at least one amino acid sequence Glu-Glu-Glu (formula (A)), wherein the amino group may be present in a free or protonated manner, and the carboxy groups may be present in a free or deprotonated manner.

Hair treatment agents having low-dose oligopeptides

The present invention is a hair treatment agent comprising at least one surfactant and at least one proteolipid of the formula R'&#x2014;X&#x2014;R&#x2033;, wherein R&#x2032; is a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 11 to 24 carbon atoms; R&#x2033; is a protein, a peptide, or a protein hydrolyzate; X is &#x2014;C(O)O&#x2014;, &#x2014;N(R)R&#x2014;, or &#x2014;N(R)R&#x2014;; Ris &#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014; with x=0-22; and Ris &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014; or &#x2014;(CH)&#x2014; with x=0-22; with the proviso that R&#x2033; consists of keratin or a keratin hydrolyzate when X is &#x2014;C(O)O&#x2014;. The agents of the present invention improve many properties of hair such as giving enhanced shine and impregnation of hair.

Compositions suitable for treating keratin fibers, which compositions comprise: (a) a protein from a seed of a plant of thegenus; (b) a color-modifying active ingredient; and (c) a cosmetically-acceptable carrier component are disclosed along with methods of using and making the same.
