Disclosed are a system () and a method () for being utilized in an industrial plant () for determining injection rate of at least one Flue Gas Conditioning Agent (FGCA) from a FGCA discharge unit () into a flue gas leading from a boiler () to be introduce into an Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) () of an industrial plant (). The system () and method () is capable of determining the optimal injection rate of the FGCA based on ESP () data to increase the efficiency of the ESP () for efficient collection of dust particles from the flue gas stream.
