The present disclosure relates to a method in a radio access controller in a first radio access network for providing access control in a wireless network comprising the first radio access network arranged to operate according to a first radio access technology and a second radio access network arranged to operate according to a second radio access technology. The method comprises the steps of receiving an access request (Si, Si) originating from a wireless device, said access request comprising wireless device related information including information related to a global cell identity; assessing (P) the access request based on the received wireless device related information, a throughput related value for the first radio access technology and a throughput related value for the second radio access technology, and responding (Si, Si) to the access request based on the assessment. The present disclosure further relates to a method in a radio access controller in a second radio access network, radio access controller, a method in a wireless device and a wireless device.

System and method for wireless network access control

Methods, user equipment () and target base station () for supporting update of neighbor cell relations in a cellular communications network (). The user equipment () switches from being served in the source cell () by the source base station () to instead being served in the target cell () by the target base station. The user equipment sends (), to the target base station (), in association with the switching, an identifier of the source cell () in the cellular communications network () and a request for mobility report. The request for mobility report requests the target base station () to send a mobility report to the source base station () or a management entity () thereof. The mobility report reporting that a successful switch has taken place between the source cell () and the target cell (), thereby enabling updating of the neighbor cell relations based on the mobility report. Hence, reporting back of successful cell switching is enabled even when the target base station is unprepared by the source base station about the switching. Neighbor cell relations of at least the source base station may be updated based on the mobility report.

Methods, user equipment and base station for supporting update of neighbour cell relations in a cellular communications network

Disclosed is a method in a network node () for establishing neighbor cell relations in a wireless network for a source cell () served by the network node (). The method comprises establishing () a temporary neighbor cell relation for a received unknown neighbor cell identification; verifying () validity of the temporary neighbor cell relation, and establishing () a permanent neighbor cell relation based on the established temporary neighbor cell relation, if the temporary neighbor cell relation is found valid, thus avoiding that a false neighbor cell identification results in a faulty permanent neighbor cell relation. Disclosed is also a corresponding apparatus in a network node for establishing neighbor cell relations in a wireless network.
