Hair shine compositions are disclosed. In embodiments, a hair shine composition may include greater than or equal to 50 wt/wt % and less than or equal to 95 wt/wt % water; greater than or equal to 0.5 wt/wt % and less than or equal to 3 wt/wt % propanediol; and greater than or equal to 0.25 wt/wt % and less than or equal to 2 wt/wt % dimethyl isosorbide. In embodiments, a wt/wt % ratio of propanediol to dimethyl isosorbide may be from 1.00:1 to 3.00:1.

Hair shine compositions

A hair conditioner which provides hair conditioning, de-tangling, frizz control and reduced flyaway benefits, without weighing down hair or loosing hair volume, in a clear composition, is disclosed. The composition utilizes a combination of high levels of PEG/PPG silicone surfactants together with cationic polymeric thickeners (such as polyquaternium-37) to provide those benefits.

Clear hair conditioner composition

Rinse-off of the volumizing compositions, having an acidic pH, and in the form of a lotion, gel or cream are disclosed. The compositions include one or more linear hairstyling polymers which exhibit polar behavior in acidic pH, such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, together with a selected group of polycationic hairstyling polymers, such as polyquaternium-37. The compositions not only provide a strong hair volumizing effect, but that effect is durable, being retained after two or more shampooing operations of the hair. The compositions are used by applying an effective amount to wet hair, leaving the composition for at least about three minutes, and rinsing the composition out of the hair.

Rinse-off volumizing hair compositions containing styling polymers and polycationic polymers

The disclosure relates to a method for applying to skin, an aqueous composition comprising one or more acid direct dyes and an organic solvent, wherein the composition has a pH of 2-6 and wherein the composition is free of anionic surfactants. The method also comprises applying the aqueous composition to the skin by spraying and further comprises rinsing the composition from skin with water.
