Disclosed are biosensor devices, systems, and methods for point-of-care applications. In some aspects, a biosensor system includes a biosensor chip device to measure impedance at an electrode-electrolyte interface, which includes an electrochemical sensor comprising a first electrode including a functionalization layer exposing a molecular binding site to bind a target molecule for detection and a second electrode that does not include the binding site, and an electronic circuit unit corresponding to each electrode of the electrochemical sensor including a transimpedance amplifier, a phase detector to determine a relative phase shift in the detected electrical signal caused by an impedance change from a binding event of the target molecule at the molecular binding site, and a time-to-digital converter to quantize and average phase data points in time to remove uncorrelated noise from the detected electrical signal; and a signal generator to produce an electrical excitation signal applied across the electrode-electrolyte interface.

Electrochemical biosensor array devices, systems, and methods for point-of-care detection

A multimodal biometric device is disclosed. An apparatus may include a non-contact imaging system. The non-contact imaging system may include imaging optics, optical illumination optically coupled to the imaging optics, and a configurable body part support to support different body parts at corresponding focal lengths to capture different portions of the different body parts. An apparatus may also include a housing coupled to the imaging optics, the optical illumination, and the configurable body part support.

Multimodal biometric device

An adjustable fingerprint capturing device is configured to stabilize a finger of a subject. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises an imaging device(s) configured to capture an image(s) of the finger. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises an image actuator. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a controller configured to activate the imaging device(s) based on input from the image actuator. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a housing disposed to: the imaging device(s), the image actuator, and the controller. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a plurality of moveable finger stabilizers configured to move about a portion of the housing. The plurality of moveable finger stabilizers are configured to apply pressure to the finger. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a stabilizer actuator connected to: the housing and the plurality of moveable finger stabilizers. The stabilizer actuator is configured to cause the plurality of moveable finger stabilizers to move.

Adjustable fingerprint capturing device

An adjustable fingerprint capturing device is configured to stabilize a finger of a subject. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises an imaging device(s) configured to capture an image(s) of the finger. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a detection sensor(s) configured to detect presence of the finger. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a controller configured to activate the imaging device(s) based on input from the detection sensor(s). The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a housing disposed to: the imaging device(s), the detection sensor(s), and the controller. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises a finger stabilizer comprising at least one cantilever. The adjustable fingerprint capturing device comprises at least one cantilever spring connecting the housing and the at least one cantilever. The at least one cantilever spring is configured to create a space between the housing and the finger stabilizer. The space is large enough to accept the finger.
