A system for automatic authentication of service requests includes authentication of a remote access device. This authentication may be accomplished automatically prior to text or audio communication between a customer and a service agent. In some embodiments, authentication is accomplished automatically by authentication of the remote access device or accomplished by asking the customer questions. A single authentication of the remote access device may be used to authenticate a service request transferred between service agents. The authentication of the remote device may include, for example, use of a personal identification number, a fingerprint, a photograph, and/or a hardware identifier. Some embodiments include an intelligent pipeline configured for managing queues of customer service requests and/or customer service agent control over a customer's access device. Some embodiments include logic configured to manage and enhance communication channels between devices.

Systems and methods are described herein for providing provable provenance for assessment results. For example, an AI model and/or a dataset may be assessed using an assessment service to determine whether a bias exists within the AI model and/or the dataset. The results of the assessment may be provided to an auditing service to confirm the assessment results. The systems and methods described herein provide for provable provenance for the assessment results such that the auditing service can verify whether a model and validation dataset provided by a client are the same that were used during an assessment and have not been tampered with by a malicious party.

Systems and methods for provable provenance for artificial intelligence model assessments

A Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system is configured for direct communications between remote computing devices in a peer-to-peer configuration. Voice data from the communication is marked such that the voice data from the different endpoints can be combined into a unified audio stream. An authentication may be accomplished automatically prior to text or audio communication between a customer and a service agent. In some embodiments, authentication is accomplished automatically by authentication of the remote access device or accomplished by asking the customer questions. One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for synchronizing playback of digital content on two or more different content players. Each content player synchronizes a local time signal to a time reference signal maintained by a time server. Actions related to content playback are synchronized with respect to each local time signal for a given content player, which thereby synchronizes playback for a group of associated content players. Each content player may be advantageously configured with different playback options, allowing each user to have a better shared viewing experience than possible with prior art solutions that provide only one set of playback options.

System and method for synchronized playback of streaming digital content

A communication system is configured to automatically adapt an image sequence in response to movement of a camera used to capture the image sequence. The adaptation includes a reduction in the data size of the image sequence and can occur in real-time as the image sequence is captured. The adaptation further includes restoration of the data size of the image in response to a reduction in movement of the camera. This approach allows for the communication of quality images shortly after movement of the has been reduced.

In various embodiments, a call is received at a call center system from a client device of a caller. Caller connection logic, automatically connects the client device of the caller to a conference line. Agent connection logic automatically connects a call agent to the conference line. Disconnection analysis logic determines that a party to the conference line was disconnected from the conference line, the party to the conference line being one of the client device of the caller and the call agent. Disconnection analysis logic detects an indication that the party was disconnected. Based on the detecting, the reconnection logic automatically initiating a reconnection of the party to the conference line.

One embodiment provides a technique for dynamically adjusting streaming media bit rates in response to user requests for accelerated playback. A user request to increase a playback speed at which the units of digital content are played back on a content player is received. Upon receiving the user request to increase the playback speed, while previously downloaded units of the digital content having a first bit rate are being output for display, and prior to downloading a next unit of digital content from a content server, embodiments determine that the increased playback speed cannot be maintained without buffer underrun if subsequent units of digital content are downloaded from the content server at the first bit rate. A second bit rate, lower than the first bit rate, is determined and the next unit of digital content is downloaded from the content server for playback at the second bit rate.

One embodiment of the present invention provides a technique for dynamically adjusting streaming media bit rates in response to user requests for accelerated playback. When user may selects to accelerate playback of streaming media content, a content player may begin decoding data from a content buffer at the accelerated rate. At the same time, the content player may estimate a bit rate that can be supported by both the accelerated playback rate and prevailing network bandwidth and latency. That is, a bit rate at which the accelerated playback may be continued without resulting in an eventual buffer under-run.
