A transceiver may include a transmit path and a receive path that are each coupled to a radio frequency (RF) interface, and a self-interference canceller (SIC). The SIC is coupled between the transmit and the receive paths. The SIC is configured to cancel a self-interference signal from a received signal on the receive path based on a transmit signal on the transmit path.

An electronic circuitry is proposed. The electronic circuitry comprises a directional coupler comprising a first port configured to receive an input signal from a signal source, a second port configured to output the input signal for transmission to a load, a third port configured to output a forward signal based on the input signal, and a fourth port configured to output a reverse signal based on a reflection of the input signal received at the second port. The electronic circuitry further comprises a Time-to-Digital converter, TDC, coupled to the third port and the fourth port. The TDC is configured to determine a phase difference between the forward signal and the reverse signal.

A closed loop transmitter (Tx) calibration system is disclosed. The closed loop Tx calibration system comprises a transmitter circuit configured to generate a Tx output signal at a Tx output frequency based on a Tx local oscillator (LO) signal. The closed loop Tx calibration system further comprises a loop back (LPBK) receiver circuit coupled to the transmitter circuit and configured to downconvert the Tx output signal at the Tx output frequency to form an LPBK baseband signal at an LPBK intermediate frequency (IF), based on an LPBK LO signal. In some embodiments, the LPBK IF frequency is different from zero. In some embodiments, the closed loop Tx calibration system further comprises an LO generation circuit configured to generate the Tx LO signal and the LPBK LO signal from a single phase locked loop (PLL) source, based on utilizing a digital to time converter (DTC) circuit.
