Presented are systems and methods that analyze an individual's state based on selected criteria, and then adaptively provide stimuli to affect the individual's performance compared to established benchmarks and pre-set plans. The methods or systems can provide audio and/or tactile inputs to a human subject to obtain a specific performance state. A music or sound selection engine considers the sensory and environmental inputs and selects the appropriate music or auditory stimulus, with the intent to reach a desired state of flow. The methods and systems can employ multiple measurements of personal data that can correlate to the emotional state of a subject. By manipulating stimuli delivered to an individual, ultimate performance can be improved over various planning horizons.

Human performance optimization and training methods and systems

A method and apparatus for de-noising weak bio-signals having a relatively low signal to noise ratio utilizes an iterative process of wavelet de-noising a data set comprised of a new set of frames of wavelet coefficients partially generated through a cyclic shift algorithm. The method preferably operates on a data set having 2frames, and the iteration is performed N&#x2212;1 times. The resultant wavelet coefficients are then linearly averaged and an inverse discrete wavelet transform is performed to arrive at the de-noised original signal. The method is preferably carried out in a digital processor.

Fast wavelet estimation of weak bio-signals using novel algorithms for generating multiple additional data frames

A method and apparatus for de-noising weak bio-signals having a relatively low signal to noise ratio utilizes an iterative process of de-noising a data set comprised of a new set of frames. The method separately performs a non-linear de-noising operation on each of the component frames and combines the resultant de-noised frames to form a combined resultant de-noised input signal. The method is preferably carried out in a digital processor.

Fast estimation of weak bio-signals using novel algorithms for generating multiple additional data frames

Handheld apparatus (), and method for comprehensive hearing testing with pass/refer results applicable for large scale neonatal screening, adult screening, full hearing diagnostic is disclosed. The apparatus () contains a signal processor (), integral ear probe (), and remote ear, and scalp probes () all packaged as a single handheld battery operated device (). The apparatus () preferably performs a battery of tests, either independently or combined: oto-acoustic measurements utilizing a novel digital signal processing method for evoked oto-acoustic signal processing, auditory brain stem response test, tympanometry, and oto-reflectance. Algorithms for automatic test sequence, and pass/refer indication for the tests are provided.

Handheld audiometric device and method of testing hearing

A portable hand-held electrical testing device including a processor housed within an enclosure. The processor is configured to operate on commands by a user to process sub-microvolt electrical signals received through an input/output interface. The input/output interface includes a capacitive coupled amplifier with adjustable gain settings. Onboard memory linked to the processor stores processing data and instructions. A display device is mounted to said enclosure and is operatively connected to the processor to display processing results in real time.
