A system that may include multiple driving related systems that are configured to perform driving related operations; a selection module; multiple fault collection and management units that are configured to monitor statuses of the multiple driving related systems and to report, to the selection module, at least one out of (a) an occurrence of at least one critical fault, (b) an absence of at least one critical fault, (c) an occurrence of at least one non-critical fault, and (d) an absence of at least one non-critical fault; and wherein the selection module is configured to respond to the report by performing at least one out of: (i) reset at least one entity out of the multiple fault collection and management units and the multiple driving related systems; and (ii) select data outputted from a driving related systems.

Secure system that includes driving related systems

A driving related system that may include an integrated circuit (IC) that may include IC conductors and test unit; a PCB that may include PCB conductors; intermediate conductors for coupling the IC conductors to the PCB conductors; wherein the test unit is configured to: electrically test a continuity of a first conductive path that comprises a first group of intermediate conductors, a first group of IC conductors and a first group of PCB conductors; and generate a continuity fault indication when detecting a discontinuity of the first conductive path; and wherein the driving related system is configured to perform a safety measure, in response to a generation of one or more continuity fault indications.

A system-on-chip (SoC) with a debugging methodology. The system-on-chip (SoC) includes a central processing unit (CPU) and multiple computing elements connected to the CPU. The CPU is configured to program the computing elements with task descriptors and the computing elements are configured to receive the task descriptors and to perform a computation based on the task descriptors. The task descriptors include a field which specifies a breakpoint state of the computing element. A system level event status register (ESR) attaches to and is accessible by the CPU and the computing elements. Each of the computing elements has a comparator configured to compare the present state of the computing element to the breakpoint state. The computing element is configured to drive a breakpoint event to the event status register (ESR) if the present state of the computing element is the breakpoint state. Each of the computing elements has a halt logic unit operatively attached thereto, wherein the halt logic unit is configured to halt operation of the computing element. The ESR is configurable to drive a breakpoint event to the halt logic units to halt at least one of the computing elements other than the computing element driving the breakpoint event.
