A cable routing box for fitting to an electrical switch is disclosed, wherein, with the cable routing box fitted, a cable is connected to the electrical switch in a first plane and is routed through the cable routing box. The cable routing box includes a guide for the cable in the cable routing box. The cable exits the cable routing box in a second plane, which differs from the first plane.

Switching device

In a rocker arm of an electric switch, the electric switch is actuated by the rocker arm for setting definable positions. The rocker arm of an embodiment includes a first part, for setting the definable positions, and a second part, movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the second part, the first part can be moved into the definable positions; and in the second position of the second part, the movement of the first part is blocked.

An electric switch includes a thermal tripping unit which, when a thermal budget acting on it is exceeded, trips and switches off the electric switch. In an embodiment, the tripping unit includes an adjustment module which, as a function of an accessory connected to the electric switch, uses an actuating element to set a tripping element of the thermal tripping unit such that the heat effect of the accessory is compensated for in the event of tripping.

A lock insert for a cylinder lock is disclosed for locking an electric switch, including a main part with an opening for receiving the cylinder lock. In an embodiment, the inner wall of the opening is designed to at least partially contact an outer wall of the cylinder lock, and in the inner wall at least one slot is formed to allow freedom of radial movement of locking elements in the cylinder lock, the positions of which correspond to a locked position of the cylinder lock.

A switching device is disclosed, in particular an electrical circuit breaker, including a housing and a switching unit disposed inside the housing. In at least one embodiment, the housing includes an openable housing cover with a switching opening through which a control lever head, which can be moved between an on-position and an off-position, of a control lever for switching the switching unit projects. The switching opening includes an opening contour and the control lever head includes an outer contour, which are aligned with one another such that the control lever head in the on-position prevents any movement of the housing cover via the control lever head, and in the off-position permits a movement of the housing cover via the control lever head.
