A module of the present invention is formed by housing, in a housing container, a cell stack device that includes cell stacks comprising an arrangement of a plurality of cells. The housing container includes a housing chamber that houses the cell stack device; a first gas introduction section provided in a lower portion of the housing chamber and configured to introduce a first gas supplied into the housing chamber; and a first gas circulation section provided on a side of the housing chamber and connected to the first gas introduction section. The width of the first gas circulation section is narrower than the width of the first gas introduction section.

[Object] To provide a hybrid system of which overall efficiency is improved. [Solution] A hybrid system of the invention includes: a fuel cell device; and a thermoacoustic cooler. The thermoacoustic coolerincludes: a thermoacoustic energy generating sectionin which thermoacoustic energy is generated by a temperature gradient between a high-temperature side and a low-temperature side; and a cooling sectionin which a function of cooling is performed in the low-temperature side using the temperature gradient between the high-temperature side and the low-temperature side which is produced when the thermoacoustic energy transmitted from the thermoacoustic energy generating sectionis converted into energy. The system is configured to cause exhaust gas emitted from the fuel cell device to flow through the high-temperature side of the thermoacoustic energy generating section. Therefore, it is possible to achieve the hybrid system of which overall efficiency is improved.

Hybrid system

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that generates electric power using fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas and combusts fuel gas remaining unused for generation of electric power; a fuel gas supply line that supplies the fuel gas to the fuel cell; and an on-off valve disposed in the fuel gas supply line. A shutdown transition mode in which the fuel gas in the fuel gas supply line downstream from the on-off valve is supplied to the fuel cell at a flow rate smaller than that at a time of generation of electric power and is combusted therein after the on-off valve is closed, and a shutdown mode which is started after the shutdown transition mode are provided as an emergency shutdown mode in which the fuel cell undergoes emergency shutdown when the on-off valve of the fuel gas supply line is closed.
