A lighted hand tool includes a cylindrical-shaped rivet member, and a first and second tool member each having a handle, a jaw, and a pivot portion therebetween. A cylindrical bore section is defined by each pivot portion, and each bore is in co-axial alignment for aligned receipt of the rivet member therein. The rivet member prevents lateral separation of the first and second hand tool therebetween, while enabling pivotal movement of the jaw portions. An illumination device is formed for sliding receipt in the receiving channel of the rivet member, and aligns an output portion with the communication port to illuminate the work area. A first end cap and second cap are threadably disposed in the opposite openings into the rivet member. The first and second end cap cooperate to securely abut and seat the illumination device therebetween.

Illuminated hand tool assembly

An eyewear temple arm apparatus for an eyewear device including an elongated body member having a proximal end portion configured to mount to the eyewear device. The temple arm apparatus includes a functional element, an elongated flexible tether; and a guide base. The base is movably mounted to the elongated body member for movement thereof along a fixed path in a direction generally longitudinally therealong between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the guide base is positioned proximate to a proximal portion of the body member, while in the second position, it is oriented proximate to a distal portion thereof. One end of the tether is mounted to the guide portion and an opposite end thereof is mounted to the functional element such that when guide base is moved between the first and second positions, the functional element is moved between a parked condition, parked relative to the body member, and an operational condition, positioning the functional element sufficiently away from the body member to enable operation thereof.

A stake for insertion in soil to support an item such as a plant. The stake includes primary and secondary telescoping shafts and a foot adjustably secured to the primary shaft. The primary shaft has an upper end and a lower end. The lower end is configured for insertion into the soil at a first location. The foot has a supporting protrusion for insertion into the soil at a second location removed from the first location. Retractable ties are disposed within the secondary shaft and may be extended to support a plant. An adjustable collar may provide an anchor point for additional support.

A solar powered lighting system provides a lighting element assembly having a lighting element and a diffuser that secures near the upper end of a support. A collector unit contains a solar cell and a coupler such as a clip-on clamp which allows the collector unit to be selectively attached to a desired support. The lighting system includes a battery electrically coupled to the solar cell of the collector unit and to the lighting element assembly using a wire such that the portion of the wire that extends from the collector unit to the lighting element assembly is of sufficient length to allow the collector unit to be selectively positioned on or remotely from the support.

Vehicle rack

A bicycle support rack adapted to be mounted in a hitch receiver of a vehicle including a hollow upstanding tube having a parallel rod running therethrough, both extending from a lower hitch bar upwardly to a top plate. The top plate supporting a pair of rearwardly extending arms upon which one or more bicycles may be mounted for carrying by the vehicle. The tube and internal parallel rod both being adapted to pivot rearwardly while maintaining the bicycle supporting arms in a substantially parallel orientation with the vehicle hitch receiver. The tilting movement of the rack providing improved access to the rear of the vehicle.

Vehicle mounted bicycle rack

A carrier for bicycles or other objects which is adapted to be mounted in a hitch receiver of a vehicle. The carrier being adapted to pivot downwardly away from the rear of the vehicle to allow for improved access to the rear doors of the vehicle. The carrier including a cantilever mounted handle having a spring actuated locking member for holding the carrier in a horizontal or, vertically stored position, or, when released, allowing the carrier to tilt downwardly. The carrier including bicycle support members is adapted to grip the wheels of a bicycle mounted thereon. The bicycle support members are mounted on transverse members and are laterally adjustable to match the wheel span of a bicycle to be carried. The bicycle support members are adapted to be folded and the transverse members moved inwardly to make the carrier more compact for storage. In an alternative embodiment, a tiltable carrier rack is provided for carrying items other than bicycles.

A retractable hat tether apparatus for a hat having a cap portion is provided. The tether apparatus includes a guide base movably mounted to the cap portion for movement thereof along a fixed path between a first position and a second position. A flexible tether includes a first end and an opposite second end thereof mounted to the guide base. A bottle opener device is mounted to the first end, and is configured to function as a conventional bottle opener. The bottle opener device includes a clip member for releasable attachment to the cap portion. The bottle opener device is mounted to the first end such that, when the guide base moves along the fixed path between the first position and the second position, the tether and the bottle opener device move between a retracted condition, positioning the tether substantially along the fixed path, and an extended condition, positioning the tether at an exterior of the cap portion to enable the bottle opener device to be operated more freely since the useable tether is longer.

A lighted plier hand tool apparatus including a pivoting hub device containing a first opening, an opposed second opening, and a passage therethrough extending from the first opening to the second opening. The plier hand tool apparatus further includes a first plier member and a second plier member. Each plier member includes a respective handle portion, a jaw portion, and an intermediate pivot portion therebetween. Each respective pivot portion defines a respective bore section formed for aligned receipt of the hub device therein. Such receipt interconnects the first and second plier members together to enable relative pivotally movement of the respective jaw portions at a work area between an opened condition and a closed condition. The hand tool apparatus further includes an illumination device having an illumination portion outputting a light beam from one end of an elongated body section. The body section of the assembly is formed and dimensioned for receipt in the passage of the hub device such that the illumination portion terminates at the work area for illumination thereof.

An aerosol device for dispensing texture material for matching existing acoustical ceiling texture. The device comprises a container, a valve assembly, a dispensing nozzle, a hardenable material, and pressurized inert gas as a propelling mechanism. The hardenable material and pressurized inert gas are placed into the container. When the valve assembly is opened, the inert gas forces the hardenable material out of the container through the dispensing nozzle. The dispensing nozzle diverts at least a portion of the hardenable material exiting the container to develop a spray suitable for the application of the hardenable material onto the ceiling surface being textured. The hardenable material preferably comprises at least water, filler, binder, and polystyrene particles. The inert gas is preferably nitrogen.
