A theme to be applied to a document to be edited can be identified. The document and a preview of one or more components insertable into the document can be displayed. The preview can be formed and presented prior to the insertion of at least one of the components by applying the identified theme to the components.

A retention period of the node is set based on the drop position in the node retain area. After a passing of a period of time, the node is moved toward the node delete area while decreasing the set retention period. Responsive to the node being moved into the node delete area, the node is deleted.

A three-dimensional time series data processing system selects one electronic information, extracts electronic information relating to the selected electronic information from the electronic information database, calculates relevance between the sender of the selected electronic information and the sender of the extracted electronic information, and generates three-dimensional time series data for three-dimensionally rendering a relationship between the selected electronic information and the extracted electronic information as positional information of the respective extracted electronic information in a virtual three-dimensional space, where the sender, the send time and the relevance are axes. In addition, the three-dimensional time series data processing system renders three-dimensional time series data for relevance of electronic information in cylindrical coordinates and displays the data while modifying a viewing angle.

Devices and methods are disclosed that reduce the amount of power consumed by an existing display device irrespective of the display mode. One such method includes recognizing a display mode related to light and dark when no voltage is applied to the display device. The method further includes determining a shift amount for the values of the image in accordance with a predetermined process, and converting the values of the image to be converted in the determined shift direction in accordance with the determined shift amount.

Then, based on the replacement information extracted by using a selection-accepted rule information piece, the unique identification information included in the replaced document data is replaced with either the unreadable mask data or the partial text data.
