A motor vehicle storage apparatus comprises a tray. Opposing doors are pivoted to the tray. The doors are displaceable between a raised position and a lowered position. Ends are pivoted to the tray. The ends are displaceable between a raised position and a lowered position. The doors and the ends cooperate to form peripheral walls for bounding a storage area when in the raised position.

Motor vehicle storage apparatus

A modular overhead console assembly for attachment to a vehicle roof which can be formed by attaching a plurality of modules having different controls and convenience packages. Preferably, the console assembly includes a main console and at least one wing portion. The main console is attached to the roof and extends longitudinally along the roof. The wing portion extends from a side of the main console towards a lateral edge of the roof. The wing portion is positioned behind and adjacent a visor pivotally attached to the roof.

A portable storage bin includes a storage container and a lid. The storage container includes an inner wall, an outer wall, opposing side walls, and a bottom. The walls cooperatively form a peripheral wall. The bottom is joined to the peripheral wall. The storage container is adapted to be inserted into the support. The lid is pivoted to the storage container so as to be displaceable between an opened position and a closed position.

Portable storage apparatus for motor vehicle

A method of fastening a seat to a vehicle floor having preexisting seat mounting locations includes providing a seat having a frame with mounting locations different from the preexisting mounting locations of the vehicle floor. An adapter bracket is provided having first mounting locations corresponding to the mounting locations of the vehicle floor and second mounting locations corresponding to the mounting locations of the frame of the seat. The adapter bracket is secured to the vehicle floor. The frame of the seat is secured to the adapter bracket, thereby fastening the seat to the vehicle floor. A method of installing various panels over a framework of a vehicle interior is also disclosed.
