Method and arrangement for supplying essentially hollow bodies with equipment wherein the hollow bodies each have a transverse dimension and a longitudinal dimension being larger than the transverse dimension. The bodies have at least one opening for accessing their interior from outside along their longitudinal dimension. The hollow bodies are arranged essentially side-by-side along the longitudinal dimension and they are moved along their transverse dimension in a clocked fashion. An arrangement comprises a plurality of conveyor means for moving hollow bodies, wherein the conveyor means are arranged such that the hollow bodies are arranged side-by-side along their longitudinal dimension and moved along their transverse dimension in a clocked fashion.

Method and arrangement for supplying essentially hollow bodies with equipment

A device and method for joining and tacking several individual components independently of shape and/or size to form inherently rigid, transportable sections for transportation vehicles, such as an aircraft is disclosed. According to one embodiment of the invention, the individual components may be spatially positioned relative to each other independently of shape and/or size. The spatial positions of the individual components may be determined by a measuring device, such as a laser measuring device, and varied via several positioning devices until a preset spatial position of the individual components has been reached in which the individual component are tacked together to form a section. In another embodiment, the positioning devices may be designed as base positioners, a first lateral positioner, a second lateral positioner, an upper positioner as well as an inner positioner. Joining and tacking of several individual componentsmay form varying sections such as sections with varying cross sectional geometries and/or cross sectional dimensions and/or linear dimensions for different types of aircraft or for derivatives of the same aircraft types. In addition, the sections may have two working platforms on either side of the section.

Device and method for joining and tacking sections for transportation vehicles

The invention relates to a method for the economic production of entire fuselage cells of airplanes and to a site for carrying out the method. Differing from the conventional sectional assembly according to the invention separate shells (shell components) are attached to a substantially completed cockpit section and/or rear section. At this the half shell construction and the four shell construction as well as a combination hereof can be applied. Alternatively, the cockpit section and the rear section as well as the central wing box section can be aligned and positioned to each other in a site forming gaps in longitudinal direction. Subsequently, the shell components as well as the floor framework sections are adjusted circularly revolving between the sections and are ideally simultaneously connected to these by means of at least four cross-seams and a plurality of longitudinal seams.

Method and device for producing a fuselage cell of an airplane

A device for transporting components for transportation systems between workstations comprises a transport apparatus and a positioning frame. The positioning frame is maintained on the apparatus and has a positioning element capable of aligning the position frame in the workstation. In one example, at least one positioning element arranged on the positioning frame allows alignment of components forming a section of an aircraft that is situated on at least one positioning frame in relation to workstations. During this process, connecting members are inserted into receptacle members arranged in the region of the floor area. The members may be at least partially form-fitted fashion. In order to adapt the device to sections with different dimensions, such as sections with different cross-sectional geometries and/or lengths, the device is provided with at least one supporting device for supporting the section that is mounted on the positioning frame, After depositing at least one positioning frame in the work station, the decoupled transport device may be used for transporting other sections.

Device for transporting components for transportation systems

A device for processing components, and in particular, sections for aircraft, includes a handling system that supports a holding frame. The holding frame includes at least one pressure stamp and/or at least one processing device or unit. By means of the handling system, the processing device is freely positionable in space in relation to the components. Preferably, in the region of the holding frame at least one connection element is arranged. Due to the connection elements, an essentially closed force ring is established between the holding frame and the components so that in an ideal case there is no longer any feedback of reaction forces to the handling system. The connection elements, the processing device and the pressure stamps can be movable by actuators and can comprise integrated force sensors and/or distance measuring sensors.
