An image processor includes memory configured to store the shape of an object, extracting circuitry configured to extract a second image of a target range from a first image of the object, distance detecting circuitry configured to process the second image to detect distances from at least three parts projected within the target range to the camera, plane estimating circuitry configured to estimate a plane projected within the target range using the distances based on the at least three parts, angle detecting circuitry configured to detect an angle of the plane with respect to an optical axis of the camera, contour estimating circuitry configured to estimate, based on the shape of the object and the angle of the plane, a contour of the object projected on the first image, and identifying circuitry configured to identify the object on the first image based on the contour.

A transfer robot transfers workpieces while sucking upper surfaces of the workpieces. The transfer robot includes a first hand body attached to a first robotic arm, a second hand body attached to a second robotic arm, a first suction part attached to the first hand body, and a second suction part attached to the second hand body. The first suction part has a pair of suction bodies, the pair of suction bodies extending in a horizontal first direction and separated from each other in a horizontal second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second suction part has at least one suction body extending in the first direction, and the one suction body is changeable in an entering amount into an area between the pair of suction parts of the first suction part according to a relative movement of the second hand body in the first direction.

Transfer robot

A robot system includes a transfer device, a plurality of robots, a sensor configured to detect a workpiece to which a work has not yet been performed, and a controller provided to each of the plurality of robots. The plurality of robots are disposed in series in a transferring direction of a workpiece. When the sensor detects the unworked workpiece and the robot is in a stand-by state, the controller causes the robot to perform the work to the unworked workpiece, and when the sensor detects the unworked workpiece and the robot is working, the controller inhibits the robot to perform the work to the unworked workpiece.
