A vehicle body rear structure includes a rear parcel provided between left and right vehicle body side parts, a parcel cross member bonded to the rear parcel and constituting a first closed cross section, and a parcel member and parcel support bonded to the first closed cross section and constituting the main section of a second closed cross section. The first closed cross section is configured from the rear parcel and the parcel cross member. Furthermore, the first closed cross section continues through the main section of the second closed cross section to the left vehicle body side part.

Vehicle body rear structure

A vehicle body rear part structure in which a spare tire is stored underneath a rear floor via a spare tire carrier. The vehicle body rear part structure includes a frame part and a tire cover. An embedding groove is formed in an external surface of the tire cover. The frame part is embedded in the embedding groove. Left and right front connecting parts of the frame part are rotatably connected to left and right front support parts. A rear connecting part of the frame part is vertically movably connected to rear support part. Vertical movements of the rear connecting part via the rear support part causes a spare tire to be disposed in a tire storage position and a tire accessing position.

Vehicle body rear part structure

A vehicular reinforcing bar structure includes: a reinforcing bar fixedly fastened at its opposite end portions to a pair of opposed vehicle body frame members, the reinforcing bar having a uniform closed sectional shape from one of the end portions to the other; collars fitted in the respective opposite end portions of the reinforcing bar for imparting fastening force to the end portions; and mounting brackets provided in corresponding relation to the opposite end portions, each of the mounting brackets being formed in a closed section and fixedly fastening the corresponding end portion by sandwiching the end portion with the corresponding vehicle body frame member.

Vehicular reinforcing bar structure

An engine mount system includes multiple liquid-filled engine mounts switchable to provide different mount characteristics by selectively introducing negative pressure or atmospheric pressure. On one of pipelines connected to the respective engine mounts for introducing the negative or atmospheric pressure into the respective engine mounts, a check valve and an orifice portion are provided in parallel. The orifice portion restricts an amount of air flowing therethrough, so that the mount characteristic of the engine mount connected to the one pipeline equipped with the check valve and the orifice portion does not undergo an abrupt change when the pressure introduced in the engine mount is switched from the negative pressure to the atmospheric pressure.

Engine mount system

A fuel vapor storage canister for an automotive vehicle, includes a casing formed thereinside with charge, purge and drain ports connected to a gas passage. First, second, third and fourth adsorption layers are disposed in the gas passage and arranged in order of first, second, third and forth adsorption layers from side of the charge port along a longitudinal direction of the gas passage. Each adsorption layer includes a fuel vapor adsorbent. Additionally, a first space section is formed between the first and second adsorption layers. A second space section is formed between the second and third adsorption sections. A third space section is formed between the third and fourth adsorption sections. Each space section has a width in the longitudinal direction of the gas passage.

Fuel vapor storage canister

A fuel vapor treatment device for suppressing emission of fuel vapor from a fuel tank or the like of an automotive vehicle. The fuel vapor treatment device comprises a casing having a charge port connected to a fuel tank, a purge port connected to an intake section of an engine, and an atmospheric air port through which atmospheric air is introduced. Fuel vapor adsorbing material is filled in the casing. Additionally, an adsorbing material cartridge is disposed in a part of the casing and includes a cylindrical cartridge main body section having a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the casing. Fuel vapor adsorbing material is filled in the cartridge main body section. Air introduced from the atmospheric air port is flowable through the inside of the cartridge main body section to the fuel vapor adsorbing material in the casing.
