A control device for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The internal combustion engine includes a plurality of cylinders, a fuel injection valve configured to supply fuel to each cylinder, an EGR passage configured to connect an exhaust passage and an intake passage, an EGR valve configured to adjust a flow rate of exhaust gas flowing from the exhaust passage into the intake passage through the EGR passage, and an air-fuel ratio sensor provided in the exhaust passage. The control device includes an electronic control unit configured to execute determination processing for determining that a degree of imbalance abnormality is greater when a fluctuation amount of a detection value of the air-fuel ratio sensor is relatively large than when the fluctuation amount is relatively small.

The magnetless rotary electric machine includes an annular rotor, an outer stator and an inner stator. The annular rotor includes an annular rotor yoke portion, outer salient poles, outer rotor coils, inner salient poles, inner rotor coils, first rectifying devices and second rectifying devices. The first salient pole is configured to be magnetized by an induction current induced by the first coil. Each of the first rectifying devices is configured to rectify current such that a direction of a magnetic pole of the first salient pole is a first direction. The second salient pole is configured to be magnetized by an induction current induced by the second coil. Each of the second rectifying devices is configured to rectify current such that an direction of a magnetic pole of the second salient pole is a second direction. The second direction is a reverse direction to the first direction.

Magnetless rotary electric machine

An engine system includes: an engine including a plurality of cylinders; an EGR passage including EGR branch passages each configured to recirculate part of exhaust gas into an intake port of a corresponding one of the plurality of cylinders; an EGR valve configured to be capable of adjusting an EGR flow rate; and an ECU configured to control the EGR valve. When an engine rotation fluctuation amount in an EGR OFF state is less than a first determination value, and when the engine rotation fluctuation amount in an EGR ON state is greater than a second determination value, the ECU imposes an EGR restriction for restricting the EGR flow rate. When it is determined that the engine rotation fluctuation amount in the EGR ON state is greater than a third determination value less than the second determination value after the EGR restriction is imposed, the ECU continues the EGR restriction.

Engine system

A magnetless rotating electric machine has an outer stator, an inner stator, and an annular rotor interposed between the outer stator and the inner stator. A plurality of outer-inner salient pole pairs are provided in the annular rotor along a circumferential direction of an annular rotor yoke. A rotor yoke coil is wound around one side of the rotor yoke and around another side of the rotor yoke along the circumferential direction with the respective outer-inner salient pole pairs sandwiched therebetween. Rectifying elements make a magnetic pole polarity of the outer salient poles and magnetic pole polarity of the inner salient poles, which are magnetized by an induced current of the rotor yoke coil caused by magnetization of the outer stator and the inner stator, identical with each other, and also make magnetic pole polarities of the adjacent outer-inner salient pole pairs opposite each other.

Magnetless rotating electric machine

A magnet-free rotating electric machine provided with an annular rotor between an outer and inner stators. The annular rotor includes pairs of inner and outer salient poles along a circumferential direction of an annular rotor yoke portion. Each rotor coil is diagonally wound between an inner circumferential surface of the rotor yoke portion on a first side and an outer circumferential surface of the rotor yoke portion on a second side with the pair of inner and outer salient poles sandwiched therebetween. A rectifying device ensures that the magnetic polarities of the inner and outer salient poles magnetized by the current of the rotor coil induced by the excitation of the outer stator and the inner stator are opposite to each other and further that the NS magnetic pole directions of the adjacent pairs of inner and outer salient poles are opposite to each other.

Magnet-free rotating electric machine

Provided is a rotating electrical machine wherein it is possible to sufficiently cool an electronic device attached to a rotor by means of a liquid refrigerant. A rotor for a rotating electrical machine is provided with a shaft supported in a rotatable manner, a rotor core secured to the shaft, an electronic device disposed so as to rotate along with the shaft and the rotor core, a coil wound around the rotor core and connected to the electronic device, and a cooling structure for sequentially cooling the electronic device and the coil by means of a liquid refrigerant supplied from the shaft.

A rotor for a rotating electrical device includes: a rotor coil that is wound on each of the rotor salient poles; a retaining member that is supported by a rotor core; and an outer magnetic member. The retaining member has a beam bridged between the adjacent rotor salient poles and prevents the rotor coil from falling out. The outer magnetic member is provided in an end of the beam.

Rotor for rotating electrical device

A rotor includes a plurality of salient poles, each of which is formed by a plurality of plate members including steel plates that are stacked together, provided extending in a radial direction and around which a coil is wound. Electromagnetic rotary electric machine

A stator has multi-phase stator coils that are wound around a stator core by concentrated winding. A rotor has rotor coils that are wound at multiple portions of a rotor core in the circumferential direction and diodes that serve as rectifier unit that is connected to the rotor coils and that varies the magnetic characteristics of the respective rotor coils alternately in the circumferential direction. A rotary electric machine driving system includes a decreasing/increasing pulse superimposing unit that superimposes decreasing pulse current for a pulse-shaped decrease on a q-axis current command for passing currents through the stator coils and that superimposes increasing pulse current for a pulse-shaped increase on a d-axis current command.

A plurality of salient poles projecting toward a stator are arranged on a rotor core along the circumferential direction while being spaced apart from each other, and rotor windings are wound around these salient poles. The rotor windings are short-circuited through diodes, respectively; and when currents rectified by the diodes flow through the rotor windings, the salient poles are magnetized to produce a magnet where the magnetic pole is fixed. The width &#x3b8; of each salient pole in the circumferential direction is smaller than a width corresponding to an electric angle of 180&#xb0; of the rotor, and the rotor windings are wound around each salient pole by short-pitch winding.

A rotary electric machine system includes: a stator that has multi-phase stator coils and that generates stator magnetomotive forces based on respective stator currents having different phases supplied to the multi-phase stator coils; a rotor on which rotor coils are wound such that magnetic poles are formed by rotor currents generated in response to the stator magnetomotive forces generated by the stator; a regulating unit that regulates a flow direction of each of the rotor currents to one direction to thereby regulate a polarity of each of the magnetic poles; and a control unit that controls currents supplied to the stator coils on the basis of a target torque. The control unit superimposes a pulse on the stator currents to adjust the ratio of each of the stator currents and each of the rotor currents so as to minimize a copper loss in the stator and the rotor.

A rotating electrical machine system includes a stator that has stator windings of a plurality of phases, and that generates a stator magnetomotive force in accordance with stator current of different phases, which is supplied to the stator windings of the plurality of phases; a rotor on which rotor windings are wound such that rotor current is generated in accordance with the stator magnetomotive force generated by the stator and a magnetic pole is formed by the rotor current; and a control unit that controls an output torque from the rotor, by controlling the stator current. In a case where a predetermined torque is output from the rotor, the control unit applies a pulse to the stator current so as to increase the stator current and reduce the rotor current, when a temperature of the rotor is high as compared with when the temperature of the rotor is low.
