To provide a drive force transmission device that is capable of transmitting elastic energy of an elastic member to an output shaft with a simpler structure than the structure of the related art. A drive force transmission device includes a first shaft (input shaft), and a second shaft (a crankshaft, a crank disc, an intermediate shaft). A force is applied to the second shaft in a predetermined direction of rotation and in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation. The force varies in strength in association with the rotation. The first shaft is connected to the second shaft, and transmission of a drive force of the first shaft to the second shaft is enabled.

A torque variation suppressing apparatus includes a rotation element, and a plurality of first elastic elements and second elastic elements which apply elastic forces to the rotation element. With a rotation of the rotation element, a torque applied to the rotation element from each of the first elastic elements and the second elastic elements changes periodically, and a phase of the torque applied to the rotation element from at least one of the first elastic elements and the second elastic elements is changed so that an overall torque characteristic applied to the rotation element is set variable.

Rotating electric machine and power transmission device including rotors and electric power unit

When a drive shaft () is driven while the operation of an engine () is stopped, the rotation of an input-side rotor () is restricted by the engagement of a brake. Power transmission device

A rotational difference is generated between a first and a second rotor and a third rotor, which causes an induced current to flow in a first rotor winding. This causes a torque to act between the first rotor and the third rotor. The rotary magnetic field generated by the induced current flowing through a second rotor winding interacts with a second stator, which in turn generates an induced electromotive force in a second stator winding. The induced electromotive force is applied via a phase adjustment circuit to a first stator winding, which generates a rotary magnetic field and causes a torque to act between the first stator and the third rotor.
