Provided is a seat structure capable of suppressing the size increase of a vehicle seat provided with a rotation member that rotates to stow a seat body. In a vehicle seat that includes a stowable seat body and a link member attached to a seat cushion, the link member rotates about a rotation shaft provided along the width direction of the seat body to shift the seat cushion to a stowed position in stowing the seat body. Further, the link member is positioned below the seat cushion and is attached to the center portion of the seat cushion in the width direction.

Vehicle seat

A structure is provided to improve rigidity of a locking structure for skin terminals of a vehicle seat. The locking structure for the skin terminals of the vehicle seat includes a seat frame having a tucking groove on an outer surface, a skin terminal of a skin for covering the seat frame, a holding member fixed to the skin terminal, a carpet terminal surrounded by the holding member, and a cut and bent portion for regulating detachment of the holding member. The skin terminal and the carpet terminal are locked in the tucking groove. The holding member is provided with a projection portion, and the carpet terminal is provided with an engagement member engaged with the projection portion for regulating detachment from the holding member. The projection portion is provided closer to the opening side of the tucking groove than the engagement member.

A headrest design described herein improves rigidity and reduces weight of an entire headrest of a vehicle seat. The headrest of the vehicle seat includes a base member attached to an upper part of a seat back, and a reinforcing member attached to the base member. The base member is formed by coupling a front side base member and a back side base member by a coupling member. The reinforcing member includes attachment portions and projection portions having larger width therebetween than that of the attachment portions. The attachment portions are fixed to a front side of a front side base member. The projection portions continue from the attachment portions and protrude to the upper side of the base member.

There is disclosed a seat that comprises a trim cover including a sheet of covering material and a wadding layer, a padding member covered with the cover, a seating surface section formed by a portion of the cover and a portion of the padding member, and electric or electronic equipment, the equipment including planar equipment bodies and accessories, the wadding layer including a first wadding member laminated onto the entire sheet, and second wadding members formed separately from the first wadding member and mounted to predetermined regions of the portion of the padding member which forms the seating surface section in cooperation with the portion of the cover, the bodies being disposed on the second wadding members, and the padding member being covered by the cover in such a manner that the second wadding members having the bodies disposed thereon are combined with the first wadding member.

A cup holder unit includes a housing case; a rest tray that switches between a pulled out position where it is moved forward from the case and a stored position where it is pushed in the case; and a holder member switchable from a non-usable position where it is superposed above the tray and stored in the case to a usable position where it is raised by a forward movement of the tray. The cup holder unit has shafts projecting from the holder member to be spaced apart from each other; clearance slots disposed in upright walls of the tray; and guide grooves disposed in the case and slanted upwardly toward front to slidably receive the shafts therein via the clearance slots. Each clearance slot includes a vertical slot and an arc-shaped slot turning toward a rear side from an upper section of the vertical slot.

There are provided a receiving base serving as a base on which a seat back frame is carried in a laid state, and a setting mechanism for holding an axis of a supporting shaft interconnecting actuating shafts projecting from locking mechanisms, the setting mechanism which has held the axis of the supporting shaft being mounted through stand bases to the receiving base so as to be swingable and being adapted to be swung by a driving cylinder which generates a force to the extent that the actuating shafts are not rotated, so that the axis of the supporting shaft can rotated relative to the actuating shafts by an allowed rotational amount according to actuation of the driving cylinder.
