An optical receiver for a meteorological lidar capable of accurate measurement of scattered light generated by emitting a laser beam of the UVC range (wavelength of 200 to 280 nm) into the air, without using a diffraction grating, is provided. The optical receiver for a meteorological lidar that emits a laser beam of a specific wavelength in the UVC range into the air and measures scattered light generated by the laser beam includes a reflector that reflects incident light to a predetermined direction, and a spectrometer that isolates a specific wavelength from incident light from the reflector, wherein the spectrometer includes interference filters.

Optical receiver for meteorological lidar

A meteorological lidar capable of measuring vertical distributions of temperature, water vapor concentration, aerosol, wind direction/wind speed, ozone concentration, COconcentration, etc., stably and continuously day and night is provided. A meteorological lidar that emits a laser beam of a specific wavelength into the air and measures scattered light generated by the laser beam includes an optical system that emits a laser beam into the air, and a dust-proof part that makes an enclosing space of the optical system clean.

Meteorological lidar

A meteorological lidar performs highly precise meteorological observation by primarily removing elastically scattered light and by detecting rotational Raman-scattered light without filtering it out. The meteorological lidar according to embodiments measures scattered light of a laser beam, and includes: a diffraction grating diffracting rotational Raman-scattered light contained in scattered light in accordance with the wavelength of rotational Raman-scattered light; a detector detecting the diffracted rotational Raman-scattered light; and a removing element primarily removing elastically scattered light of a specific wavelength contained in the scattered light.

Predetermined travel locuss are set in a three-dimensional virtual space. Menu panels displaying menu items are arranged along the travel locuss assuming a display position set as a local origin so that the normal to each LCD panel will face a virtual camera. The transparency of a menu panel is raised in accordance with its distance to the virtual camera. A scroll operation moves menu panels along the travel locuss connecting display positions P until a selected specific menu panel reaches the display position P. A display screen is drawn with the virtual camera and menu panels are three-dimensionally displayed in rolls. By sliding a stylus pen on the LCD panel, the menu screen displayed on the LCD panel scrolls at a velocity corresponding to the drag velocity. When the stylus pen is released from the LCD panel, an application program corresponding to the menu display entity (crosshatched) is activated.

An electronic system pocketbook apparatus includes a foldable and portable main body, an expansion card holder mounted on the main body, a necessary number of expansion cards held by the expansion card holder, and a communicating unit. The main body has a functions of right and left portions coupled by a cover, is folded upon carrying of the main body so that the right portion overlaps the left portion, a folded portion being fastened by a cover clip provided to the cover, and has basic functions of controlling arithmetic operations and display data processing by using an internal controller, data inputting means, and displaying data on a display unit.
