In a hybrid lens forming method for transferring an aspherical composite layer made of an ultraviolet-curing resin, which is curable by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, onto one surface of a convex lens by using a forming die, the forming die is made of a material which transmits ultraviolet rays, and the aspherical composite layer is transferred onto the convex lens by applying ultraviolet rays from the side of the forming die and curing the ultraviolet-curing resin with ultraviolet rays transmitted through the forming die.

This setup makes extremely easy the work for having the fulcrum pin be supported in the receiving portion.

Tape cassette

A linear feeding system comprises a DC motor with brush, a lead screw integrally arranged as the rotational shaft of the DC motor, and a nut member screwed on the lead screw. This linear feeding system further comprises a magnet installed on the rotational shaft of the DC motor, which is provided with a plurality of N-pole and S-pole magnets being magnetized alternately in the circumferential direction, and a magnetoresistive effect sensor fixedly arranged to face this magnet. With this structure, it is possible to provide a simply structured, small linear feeding system capable of performing a high precision high-speed feeding operation at low costs.

An electromagnetic actuator for moving a focusing lens along an optical axis includes a lens barrel having two supporting rails, a set of cylindrical inner and outer yokes incorporating a pair of magnets, a lens holder which holds the lens and is supported slidably on the supporting rails by means of a bearing device and rail guide provided on two arms of the lens holder, a coil wound on a bobbin which is fixed on the lens holder and located so that the coil is exposed to the magnetic field of the magnets inside the yokes. The yokes have cut portions, allowing the arms of lens holder to cut into the yokes when the lens is moved.

Electromagnetic actuator and lens drive mechanism using the same

In a rotary head drum device for use in a video tape recorder or the like, a motor is provided between a rotating drum and a fixed drum. A drum base has at least three supporting surfaces for supporting the head drum. The supporting surfaces are formed at positions substantially equally spaced from a center of a rotating shaft fixed to the rotating drum and substantially equally spaced from each other. A single screw for fixing the fixed drum to the drum base is threaded into the fixed drum in the vicinity of the rotating shaft. With this construction, quality can be improved, and cost can be reduced.

Rotary head drum device

A cassette tape cassette loading system is provided with a tape cassette holder which is movable between a first position in which the tape can be withdrawn from the tape cassette and disposed in a tape path including a record replay head and a second position in which the cassette can be removed or inserted into the holder. A detent mechanism is provided for cooperation with a cam formed integrally with the cassette holder to define an intermediate position between the first and second positions of the holder at which intermediate position the cassette cannot accidentally be caused to fall out of the tape cassette loading system and be damaged. When the tape cassette is to be removed from the tape cassette loading system, the holder is manually actuated to the second or fully open position and the tape is removed manually. With this constriction, the need for a heavy cassette holder damping unit is eliminated.

Loading system for tape cassette in recording and/or reproducing

A lens barrel is composed of a shaft located in a lens barrel parallel to the optical axis thereof, a movable lens frame installed in the lens barrel having a bearing to receive the shaft and holding a lens therein to be moved therewith along the direction of the optical axis via the bearing and the shaft, and a cantilever made from a elastic material of which one end is fixed to the bearing and another end is pressed to the shaft, the cantilever being extended along the direction of the optical axis. The cantilever may be a flat spring formed of synthetic resin.

Lens barrel

A cam arrangement for a cassette loading mechanism includes a sliding chassis, slidingly mounted on a fixed chassis. When the chassis slides in one direction a cam pin is moved along a cam surface of a fixed cam provided on the fixed chassis to a second cam surface provided on a movable cam mounted to the movable chassis. Proximate a return side of an end of the first cam surface a return cam is provided such that, should misalignment occur between the first and second cam surfaces during tape loading or unloading operation, the cam may be returned to an initial position automatically.

An iris drive mechanism has two slidable diaphragms which are operatively connected with a motor through a lever arrangement which, for a given motor output shaft rotational speed moves the diaphragms slowly at their extreme positions wherein the aperture is small and large respectively, and more quickly at an intermediate stage. The slower movement when the aperture is small improves the F number resolution.

Iris drive mechanism

A combination video tape recorder and camera includes a main body having a video tape recorder and a television camera, and a separable hand grip secureable to a side wall of the main body. The hand grip carries a view finder for the camera and a battery for supplying operational power to the video tape recorder and the television camera.

A tape cassette loading system for wrapping a magnetic tape about a magnetic rotary head drum of a recording and/or reproducing apparatus is provided. The loading system includes two tape guiding elements for withdrawing the tape from a tape cassette towards the rotary head drum and their tape guiding track members provided around the drum in order to define tape loading paths. One of the tape loading path slopes downwardly from a loading stand-by state position. The other tape loading path slopes upwardly from the loading stand-by state position. The movement of the two guiding elements traveling in their loading paths allows the tape to be wrapped helically about the drum. The height drum may therefore be reduced and the recording and/or reproducing apparatus can be made smaller.

Tape cassette loading system in recording and/or reproducing apparatus

A cassette compartment of a compact type recorder or player comprises an outer cassette holder and an inner cassette holder. The cassette is moved from a popped-up position to a set position and then to a loading position. The cassette is inserted at the popped-up position into the inner holder which is set down to the set position together with the outer holder. The inner holder is then moved straightforward to carry the cassette at the loading position. The inner holder is interlocked with the outer holder which is spring-urged to the popped-up position and is releasably locked at the set position.

Apparatus for loading a record medium cassette

In a cassette type recording and/or reproducing apparatus, such as an 8-mm VTR with a built-in camera, in which a tape cassette is so installed on a chassis as to have a pair of tape reels therein engaged with a pair of reel disks and then, a tape is drawn from the tape cassette by a tape loading means so as to be wound around a rotary head drum, the tape cassette is moved together with the reel disks toward the rotary head drum, after placed on the chassis on which the reel disks are provided, so that it becomes easy to make the cassette type recording and/or reproducing apparatus compact, while maintaining high tape-running stability and high recording and reproducing precisions.
