Provided is a fastener that can be recycled as paper. The fastener includes a tape member and an engaging element attached to the tape member, and the total weight of the cellulose fibers included in the tape member and the engaging element is 51 to 100 wt % of the total weight of the tape member and the engaging element.

Fastener and article provided with fastener

A stretchable fastener stringer for a slide fastener includes a fastener tape having a tape main portion and an element attaching portion and a continuous fastener element which is attached to the element attaching portion. The fastener tape has stretchability due to an elastic yarn being combined by weaving or knitting and the fastener element includes a coupling head, upper and lower leg portions which are extended from the coupling head and a connecting portion which connects the upper and lower leg portions, therebetween of adjacent fastener elements. In this fastener stringer, a value of a bulging ratio which is the ratio between a dimension of the coupling head in the tape longitudinal direction and a dimension of the upper and lower leg portions in the tape longitudinal direction is set to be larger than 1.80 and not larger than 2.33.

Stretchable fastener stringer and slide fastener

A fastener stringer capable of following up stretching/contracting action of a stretchable fabric smoothly by improving a stretching property of an element attaching portion, and capable of preventing breaking of chain if the element attaching portion is stretched, wherein the fastener stringer includes: a woven fastener tape having a tape main portion and an element attaching portion; a continuous fastener element row sewed to the element attaching portion with a non-elastic sewing thread; and an elastic core thread inserted through an interior of the fastener element row, an elastic yarn and a non-elastic yarn are woven into the tape main portion and the element attaching portion as warp yarns while a non-elastic yarn is woven as a weft yarn, and a weaving ratio of the elastic yarn to the non-elastic yarn is larger in the element attaching portion than in the tape main portion.

Fastener stringer and slide fastener

The invention provides a knitted surface fastener made of warp knitted fabric, which eliminates necessity of resin coating for fixing a base portion of a pile loop and fusion between yarns, securing flexibility and ventilation proper to knitted fabric wherein, in a base fabric of a surface fastener, wales are formed with at least chain knitting yarns and the respective wales are connected including at least weft in-laid yarns, engaging element loops are formed of first and second engaging element forming yarns striding over two or more wales and the respective engaging element forming yarns are knitted into at least three adjoining courses on a same wale in a zigzag shape, at this time, the first and second engaging element forming yarns are knitted into adjoining same stitches of at least two or more courses of the same wale in the zigzag shape.

Knitted surface fastener

A stretchable warp knitted fabric comprising warp knitting yarns, first weft in-laid yarns and second weft in-laid yarns, and stretchable warp in-laid yarns. The second weft in-laid yarns consist of a plurality of at least non-stretchable yarns, and said second weft in-laid yarns run sequentially and separately in the course direction on different wale regions of the same course with having an arbitrary length respectively, while crossing the first weft in-laid yarns between courses. Consequently, even when pulled in a longitudinal direction, because the separate second weft in-laid yarns influence each other independently, the fabric does not have a great amount of ruffling in a width direction thereof and thus the a flat surface is maintained wherein there is no narrowing in the middle of the longitudinal direction.

Stretchable warp knitted fabric

A knitted surface fastener wherein pile loops are formed by knitting-in pile knitting yarns at the same time when a foundation fabric is knitted with foundation yarns. After the pile knitting yarns which form the pile loops stride between two or more wales to form loops, they are entangled with each stitch of the foundation yarns of three or more adjoining courses on a same wales continuously to form stitches. Of the stitches of the pile knitting yarns formed due to the pile knitting yarns entangled per each of the adjoining three or more courses, at least one or more stitches located in the middle are formed in a closed loop. Consequently, the necessity of back coating is eliminated and further, clearly square gaps are formed to achieve ventilation property and transparency.
