A door handle for a vehicle includes a handle inner member made of a resin, which is arranged on a vehicle inner side, a handle outer member, which is assembled to a vehicle outer side of the handle inner member to form an accommodating portion between the handle outer member and the handle inner member, and a connector provided to the handle inner member. The connector includes a resin connector main body independent of the handle inner member and coupled integrally with the handle inner member. In the connector main body, connector terminals and an electronic component are connected in a component accommodating recessed portion formed on one side thereof and is communicated with the accommodating portion. A connection portion between the connector terminals and the electronic component is protected by potting material filled in the component accommodating recessed portion.

The lock detection electrode includes an upper lock detection electrode and a lower lock detection electrode arranged to face an inner surface of an upper wall and an inner surface of a lower wall, respectively. A first electrode end surface of the upper lock detection electrode and a second electrode end surface of the lower lock detection electrode are formed into different shapes, so that a level of capacitive coupling between the lower lock detection electrode and the outer panel is set to be smaller than a level of capacitive coupling between the upper lock detection electrode and the outer panel.

A door handle device for a vehicle is arranged in a door thereof. The door handle device includes a support member, door handle, lock detection electrode, and capacitance sensor. The door handle includes a first end, second end, pivot portion, and operation portion. A capacitance sensor detects issuance of a door lock command from a change in capacitance between an outer panel and lock detection electrode. The door handle includes a first handle case and second handle case covering the first handle case. The lock detection electrode is proximal to and faces an inner surface of at least one of an upper wall and lower wall of the second handle case. A door handle device for a vehicle includes a first handle member made of resin and formed with a housing portion which houses an electronic component and is arranged opposing to the outer panel and a second handle member covering the housing portion and assembled to the first handle member. A first connector, which protrudes in a vehicle width direction penetrating through the outer panel, is provided at an end of the first handle member. The driver circuit, which is supplied with a battery voltage Vb, generates an output signal Sa to be sent to an antennabased on the control signals Vp, Vn. The wave detector circuitoutputs a detection signal Sk having a voltage proportional to the level of the output signal Sa (transmission power level). The control circuitchanges the pulse widths of the control signals Vp, Vn based on the voltage level of the detection signal Sk. As a result, electric power consumption is reduced and enlargement of an apparatus is suppressed while maintaining the transmission power level constant.

The bobbin for the bar antenna includes a core supporting portion into which a bar shaped ferromagnetic core is inserted and supported. The core supporting portion is attached to at least one end of the bar antenna formed by the core around which a conductive wire material is wound. The bobbin further includes a conductive wire material fixing portion for fixing the conductive wire material and a core holding portion for sandwiching the core inserted into the core supporting portion from both sides opposing to each other and firmly pressing by a tension force of the conductive wire material wound thereon.
