A valve opening and closing timing control apparatus includes a driving-side rotation member, a driven-side rotation member, a phase adjustment mechanism configured as a differential type reduction gear mechanism where an inner gear rotates about a rotation axis while revolving around an eccentric axis which is disposed parallel to the rotation axis in a state where a drive shaft fitted in the inner gear is driven to rotate about the rotation axis, a biasing member provided at an outer periphery of the drive shaft and applying a biasing force to mesh an external teeth portion of the inner gear with an internal teeth portion of the ring gear, and a restriction portion provided at the drive shaft to restrict a displacement of the inner gear in a direction where the inner gear is separated from the ring gear against the biasing force of the biasing member.

Valve opening and closing timing control apparatus

A valve opening/closing timing control device that sets a relative rotation phase between a driving-side rotating body and a driven-side rotating body using a driving force of an electric actuator is compactly configured. The device is provided with: a first bearing disposed between an inner periphery of the driven-side rotating body and an eccentric member; a second bearing disposed between the eccentric member and an input gear on a side of the first bearing away from a camshaft in a direction along a rotational axis; and a front plate fixed to the driving-side rotating body on a side of the second bearing away from the camshaft. An Oldham coupling is disposed on the side away from the camshaft of both the first bearing and the second bearing in the direction along the rotational axis.

A valve opening and closing timing control apparatus includes: a driving side rotator disposed rotatably about a rotation axis and configured to rotate synchronously with a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine; a driven side rotator disposed rotatably about the rotation axis and configured to be rotatable relative to the driving side rotator and to rotate integrally with a valve opening and closing camshaft of the internal combustion engine; and a phase adjustment mechanism configured to set a relative rotation phase between the driving side rotator and the driven side rotator by a driving force of an electric actuator. The phase adjustment mechanism includes: an internally toothed ring gear; an inner gear; and a drive shaft, and the valve opening and closing timing control apparatus further includes: a biasing member; and a displacement regulation portion.

A phase adjustment mechanism is constructed as a differential deceleration mechanism where a ring gear is relatively rotated on a basis of a difference in the number of teeth between the ring gear and an inner gear by revolution of an eccentric axis with reference to a rotation axis by an electric actuator. A coupling member is provided including a first engagement portion engaging with a driving-side rotational member in a displaceable manner in a first direction serving as a radial direction and a second engagement portion engaging with the inner gear in a displaceable manner in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.

A valve opening and closing timing control apparatus includes: a driving side rotator disposed rotatably about a rotation axis and configured to rotate synchronously with a crankshaft; a driven side rotator disposed rotatably about the rotation axis and configured to be rotatable relative to the driving side rotator and to rotate integrally with a valve opening/closing camshaft; a phase adjustment mechanism configured to set a relative rotation phase between the driving side and driven side rotators by a driving force of an electric actuator, a biasing member provided on an outer periphery of a drive shaft to apply a biasing force in a direction such that an inner gear is engaged with a ring gear; and a displacement regulation portion configured to regulate a displacement of the inner gear.

Provided is a valve housing configured to be inserted into an insertion hole that extends in a direction approximately orthogonal to an extending direction of an oil path and configured to be freely movable along an extending direction of the insertion hole. When an oil jet switching valve is closed, the tip end portion of the valve housing is configured to be pressed to the inner wall surface of the oil path by receiving an energized force from an energizing unit.

Oil jet apparatus of internal combustion engine

A structure for attaching an oil jet valve includes a bracket secured to an internal combustion engine with a seal member, an attachment concavity extending through the interior of the bracket, an insertion hole extending through the interior of the internal combustion engine, an oil jet valve, a first stepped part formed in the oil jet valve, a second stepped part formed in the attachment concavity, and an interlocking member. The width of a wide part of the first stepped part is less than the width of a narrow part of the second stepped part. The width of the wide part of the first stepped part is less than the width of a portion, of the inner surface of the attachment concavity, that faces the wide part of the first stepped part.

Structure for attaching oil jet valve

A hydraulic control device includes a first predetermined portion receiving the oil discharged from a pump, a first channel establishing communication between the pump and the first predetermined portion, a second channel branched from the first channel for supplying oil to a second predetermined portion, a flow passage area regulation unit arranged on the second channel and equipped with a spool that moves in a flow passage area increasing direction when an oil pressure in the second channel increases and in a decreasing direction when the oil pressure decreases, and a bypass channel, which is provided separately from a portion of the second channel where the spool disconnects the second channel, establishes communication between an upstream side and a downstream side of the second channel relative to the flow passage area regulation unit and supplies oil to the second predetermined portion even when the spool disconnects the second channel.

An oil pressure control apparatus includes: a pump that ejects oil by being driven by rotation of an engine; a first flow passage interconnecting the pump and a first predetermined portion; a second flow passage branching from the first flow passage and supplying oil to a second predetermined portion; and a flow passage area adjusting portion that adjusts a flow passage area of the second flow passage according to oil pressure in the second flow passage. The flow passage area adjusting portion includes a spool formed such that a first pressure receiving face and a second pressure receiving face having an area smaller than that of the first pressure receiving face oppose each other with the second flow passage interposed therebetween, with the spool moving according to oil pressure in the second flow passage, and a biasing member biasing the spool in a direction toward the second pressure receiving face.

An oil supply device for a vehicle includes an oil pump driven by a rotation of an internal combustion engine, a hydraulic actuator to which oil is supplied from the oil pump, an engine lubricating system to which the oil is supplied from the oil pump, an oil supply adjusting valve adjusting a supply condition of the oil from the oil pump to the hydraulic actuator and the engine lubricating system, a first oil supply passage supplying the oil from the oil pump to the hydraulic actuator, and a second oil supply passage supplying the oil from the oil pump to the engine lubricating system, wherein the oil supply adjusting valve consistently distributes the oil to the first oil supply passage and the second oil supply passage.

An oil pressure control apparatus includes a control valve mechanism being in communication with a pump via a first fluid passage and being in communication with a control apparatus via a second fluid passage, a third fluid passage diverging from the first fluid passage to supply oil to a predetermined portion other than the control apparatus, and a fluid passage dimension regulating mechanism including a movable member provided at the third fluid passage and including an opening for regulating a fluid passage dimension of the third fluid passage. The fluid passage dimension regulating mechanism is in communication with a fourth fluid passage diverging from the second fluid passage and biases the movable member to a side increasing the fluid passage dimension by applying the hydraulic pressure of the fourth fluid passage to the movable member separately from the hydraulic pressure of the third fluid passage.

A valve timing control apparatus includes a driving-side rotating member, a driven-side rotating member arranged coaxially with the driving-side rotational member so as to be rotatable relative to the driving-side rotating member, a retarded angle chamber and an advanced angle chamber, each of which is defined by the driving-side rotating member and the driven-side rotating member, a lock mechanism locking a relative rotational phase of the driven-side rotating member at a predetermined phase between a most advanced angle phase and a retarded angle phase, an operation fluid supply-and-discharge mechanism supplying/discharging an operation fluid to/from the retarded angle chamber, the advanced angle chamber and the lock mechanism, and a first air inlet mechanism for connecting one of the retarded angle chamber and the advanced angle chamber to an outside of the valve timing control apparatus in order to allow air to flow thereinto.

Valve timing control apparatus

An electric oil pump apparatus includes a pump housing a drive side communicating portion, a motor housing having a pump side communicating portion communicating with the drive side communicating portion, a bearing portion arranged at one of the drive side communicating portion and the pump side communicating portion, and a shaft rotatably supported by the bearing portion. A one end of the shaft extends in the pump housing and is provided with a drive rotor capable of feeding the oil in response to rotation of the shaft. The other end of the shaft extends in the motor housing and is provided with a permanent magnet.

In the present invention, the restricting member (26) is controlled by the synchronizing member (36). The synchronizing member (36) detects the acceleration of the inner body (23) so that the restricting member (26) may restrict the mutual displacement between the outer body (22) and the inner body (23) in timely manner.

A valve control device for an internal combustion engine includes a rotational cam shaft disposed on a cylinder head, a first cam provided on the cam shaft, a second cam provided on the cam shaft and having a larger nose portion than that of the first cam, a first rocker arm supported on a first fulcrum so as to be able to oscillate and thereby open or close an intake or exhaust valve by the first cam in response to the rotation of the cam shaft, a second rocker arm supported on a second fulcrum so as to be able to oscillate and thereby open or close an intake or exhaust valve by the second cam in response to the rotation of the cam shaft, and a moving mechanism for selectively moving the second fulcrum so as to control the opening and closing operation of the intake or exhaust valve by the second rocker arm.
