An upper spreader guide device includes a pair of left and right boom-side guide parts each supported by a boom so as to be arranged in a raised attitude of rising diagonally upward from the boom in a state where the boom is arranged in a lowered attitude, and a pair of left and right movable guide parts supported by the pair of boom-side guide parts, respectively, such that a relative position with respect to the pair of boom-side guide parts is changeable between a protruding position and a retraction position.

Upper spreader guide device

A changing device easily and safely changes the posture of the backstop of a crane between a support posture and a storage posture. The backstop posture changing device is provided with a first support member, a second support member, a push-up mechanism, and a connection member. The first support member and the second support member are rotationally connected to a backstop and a lower boom respectively. When a cylinder rod of the push-up mechanism is extended with respect to a cylinder body, a push-up member pushes up the first support member and the posture of the backstop is changed from a storage posture on the lower boom to a support posture in which it is possible to support a boom while the crane is in a working posture.

Provided is a crane which comprises a luffing jib including a lower jib and an upper jib coupled to the lower jib in such a manner as to be separable from the lower jib, the lower jib is attached to a head of a boom to have a laid-down posture at a position between the boom and a strut when the upper jib is separated from the lower jib, when the boom is lowered and laid down to allow the head of the boom to come into contact with a ground and when the strut is lowered and laid down to allow a distal end of the strut to come into contact with the ground, and the lower jib has a length which causes no interference with the strut when the lower jib has the laid-down posture at the position between the boom and the strut.

Disclosed is a raisable-lowerable member which comprises a boom and a jib. The boom comprises a first supporting portion configured to rotatably support a jib foot when the jib is set in a protruding posture; and a second supporting portion configured to rotatably support a supportable portion of the jib when the jib is set in an enfolded posture. The present invention provides a crane where a spreader retainer is disposed on a rear surface of an extreme end of the lowest boom portion used both for a tower boom and a normal boom, a distance between an upper spreader, which constitutes a boom raising/lowering apparatus, and a lower spreader at the maximum boom raise angle and the length of the lowest boom portion are set such that the upper spreader can be lowered to the position of the spreader retainer if the boom raising/lowering apparatus lays the boom on the ground, and a boom raising/lowering rope is then loosened for disassembly of either the tower or normal boom. Consequently, the upper spreader can be lowered to the position of the spreader retainer on the lowest boom portion when the boom is disassembled either for the tower crane or normal crane specification.
