The removing jig includes a frame member and an arm member. The arm member includes a pair of side plates each provided with an axial hole. The arm member further includes an engagement portion that engages with the lever portion at its tip. The frame member includes a contact portion that contacts with a back surface of the connector body, a pair of side frame plates each provided with a guide groove formed with respect to the axial hole, and a first window portion from which the engagement portion protrudes.

First and second guiding rails are attached to support member in a mounting unit. The mounting unit is mounted in an enclosure of an electronic apparatus, for example. The second guiding rail at a first position extends straight on the extension of the first guiding rail. The first and second guiding rails serve to assist the insertion of the mounting unit into the enclosure. The second guiding rail at a second position serves to define a window opening with the assistance of the edge of the support member. A supervisor is allowed to insert fingers into the window opening. The second guiding rail functions as a handle. The second guiding rail in this manner serves to assist the carriage of the mounting unit. A space is not required solely for a handle separately from a space for a guiding rail in the mounting unit. The mounting unit is thus allowed to efficiently utilize its inside space.

Mounting unit and electronic apparatus

A first printed wiring board extends in the vertical direction within a first duct that extends in the vertical direction. A first axial flow fan generates airflow which absorbs heat from the first printed wiring board. Second and third ducts extends in parallel with the first duct. A fourth duct extends between the second and third ducts. A second printed wiring board extends in the horizontal direction within the fourth duct. A second axial flow fan is connected to the third duct. The second axial flow fan generates airflow which absorbs heat from the second printed wiring board. The electronic apparatus can be reduced in size.

Loadable/unloadable adapter for substrate

A second duct is designed to oppose its air outlet to a portion of an air inlet of a first duct in an electronic apparatus. The wall member closes the air inlet of the first duct at a position outside the air outlet of the second duct. An opening is defined in the wall member. The opening enables a connection between the outer space of the second duct and the air inlet of the first duct. Airflow enters the air inlet of the first duct from the air outlet of the second duct as well as from the opening of the wall member, respectively.

An active noise reduction device for reducing the noise produced by cooling fans in a computer. The active noise reduction device comprises a duct mounted on the casing of the computer and having at least one air passage. One end of the passage communicates with the interior of the casing near the cooling fans and the other end is open to the atmosphere. A first microphone is arranged in the duct near the first end opening for detecting noise, and a second microphone is arranged in the duct near the second end opening. A speaker is arranged in the duct near the second opening, and a controller controls the speaker in response to outputs of the first and second microphones for reducing the noise produced in the casing. The speaker makes a sound having a reverse phase to that of the noise produced in the computer and the speaker sound is superimposed on the noise.
